Our last game against Spanish opposition was Celta, wasn't it? Awful game, hope we can manage to get a cushion tonight, that was an awful last few minutes. I hope we've learned our lesson.

They've just come off a poor loss that practically ended their Top Four hopes.

Apparently, Kjaer's supposed to be good on the air.
Isn't he the same player who had a fight with Zlatan last season when we played Fenerbahce? Anyways not many can compete with Fellaini in the air. Add Smalling, Matic, Lukaku and even Bailly and you can understand what the main tactic will be tonight. Fellaini isn't out there for us to play beautiful attacking football. It'll be very direct and in Young and Rashford we have two players who can cross very well.

This is going to be torture. We are going to score a goal and then defend for the rest of the match.

Is this Mourinho trying to bypass Sevilla's pressing like we did Liverpool's, with long balls?

Pace and fluidity in our front four, hope they wreck havoc on Sevilla's defence. There is still Pogba and Martial to come on

Lingard will score first he is the ultimate big game player. Getting nervous now. Think we will score first sit deep and then score again

Afro straight back in, everything what others done before counts for nothing. Guess its midfield 2, not sure we will see much of chesting of Afro in final 3rd then (not like he is used to at least).

With a very ‘functional’ midfield, the onus is on the front line to create and finish chances...big night for Sanchez I feel, this is where he has to deliver.

My guess is that we'll concede a stupid goal early on, and the entire game plan will have to be ripped up. That's usually how this goes.

Looks like a team set up to counter attack. Fellaini and Matic sitting in front of the defence, and then us breaking at pace through Lingard, Rashford and Alexis. That means we are likely to sit back and defend a lot. Although you could make the argument that the same attacking trident are all very good at pressing, so....it could go another way. My gut tells me not though.

Good luck, do not speculate with the result and everything should go well

I don't want to be that girl but I can see Sevilla through on away goals, 1-1.

That's my thinking also. It's something we've employed in a couple of our recent games. Maybe 4231 without the ball though.
Could be, but I think he's gone for width and pace. Rashford, Sanchez and Lingard as wide as possible when the ball is won back to break down the flanks.

Pogba hasn't come out to warm up. Worrying.

As ridiculous as it sounds, I actually think we're more likely to go 1-0 down and come back to win 2-1 than we are to go ahead first and get through. If we score first, I can see us sitting back and inviting pressure needlessly.

Lots of hard workers in the lineup. We could be set up to defend a 1-0 lead if we get it. I hope we go for 2-0 instead.

Getting nervous now. Didn't expect Fellaini. Though, the one who really needs to step up is Sanchez.

Pogba, Mata and Martial rested for Brighton.;)

I like the sound of that. Either way, counter fast break hit e'm hard or/and high pressing whole game, the trident Lingard-Sanchez-Rashford is promising. Pace, Power, Energy!

 Come on, we got this!
