Only surprises there are AWB and Greenwood. Mata and Greenwood weren't with the squad earlier so assumed the worst for both and so figured both Rashford and Bruno would start.

Thought Williams would get a start too, but no. AWB again.

The problem is that players we would play here are injured. Obviously he doesn't want to risk the tie getting out of hand with youth players on the pitch. It makes sense.

It’s impressive how so many people in here have a better understanding of Bruno’s fitness than our management team. If he’s playing it’s because he’s fine to, I’d be more worried about the centre back pairing.

He was quoted last week as saying that he would field a strong team as it was important to keep the momentum going. Bruno etc are unlikely to play the full match though.

Incoming meltdown from people on here. It's a knockout stage against a good team from Spain. Yeah we hammered them in one game. Things can always go bad quickly though.

I would've rotated out Wan Bissaka and Bruno from Williams and Mata though, but other than that no real complaints. We have enough squad players who need games. Sucks for Fred and Matic as everyone else is injured. Surprised at no Tuanzebe, doesn't bode well for him.
