With Mata, McTominay, Pogba, De Beek out its not that surprising that Bruno is starting.

Wan-Bissaka starting is more of a surprise when one of Williams or Tuanzebe could have started instead of him.

I'm shocked Maguire isn't starting.

Depends on injuries but of tonights 11 I'd say 4 or 5 will start against Chelsea on Sunday.

Doing that could completely destroy ‘any youngsters’ confidence. Better to have the key players wrap the game up so the youngsters can come on with little pressure.

Only on redcafe (and Twitter) you will see full overblown meltdown after a completely fine lineup announcement. And by that I mean any lineup announcement. If it wasn’t about Bruno starting then it would be about someone else.

While I understand some of the concerns over starting Bruno in what is essentially a dead rubber, some of the reactions about Oles selection and because of that, Ole himself and his management is just bizarre to me, some people need to get a fecking grip.

I'm guessing we were planning on resting Bruno but Mata not being available (I presume he's injured) meant that Bruno had to start. We don't really have any fit midfielders or #10's that we could have replaced him with. I'm sure the idea will be to make sure we are doing well enough that we can then take him off fairly early.

I am surprised AWB is playing and a bit disappointed Amad isn't starting.

For those who have short memories, Bruno looked worn down into virtually nothing in the last four weeks of last season.

Why is Ole putting Bruno on. We are 4-0 up. At least rest Bruno and Bailey for Chelsea. Keep him on the bench sure but there’s no need for him to play every single game. He needs a fecking rest
