How much of a break is the international break? I presume loads of players will be involved?

In all honesty, we should be beating Betis. They're a very ordinary team that I'd rate behind the likes of Fulham and Brighton, nevermind the big 6 clubs in England. A 2-0 win to take into the second leg should not be beyond us. Main worry will be the combination of fatigue and low morale from today's game. But in terms of ability, we're a way ahead of them and should be able to show it.
Remember when we'd get a humiliating result under SAF, then would come out fired up in the next match and win 5-0 while playing scintillating football?
Yeah, that's probably not gonna happen.
Or when we lost 4-1 to Liverpool at Old Trafford then a week later went and got beat 2-0 by Fulham in a thoroughly miserable game, finishing with 9 men.Didn’t always happen under Fergie either. After we got beat 5-0 by Newcastle we lost to Southampton 6-3 and then Chelsea at home.
No need for the fans to suffer moreHeaton
AWB Maguire Lindelof Malacia

Sancho Pellistri Garnacho
Elanga
Others don’t deserve to play
Don’t care.
That would be very disappointing. We still have a decent chance of winning two more trophies. Today was a disaster but it isn't season over for us. We have plenty to play for. Can’t decide whether boos of derision will be cascading down from the stands when the players emerge for this game, or whether the mood will be to get behind the team more so than ever.
I also can’t decide which I’d prefer.

They draw 0-0 with Real Madrid on the same day we lose 7-0.
How did you feel in 2009 when we won the league but got dicked by them at home? The Liverpool games are everything. Losing 7-0 is unforgivable.
Matchgoers won’t boo the team. They do a great job of supporting them regardless. Can’t decide whether boos of derision will be cascading down from the stands when the players emerge for this game, or whether the mood will be to get behind the team more so than ever.

And what message will that have sent when Elanga, Maguire, Mctominay & co lose to Betis and the panic sets in about the season sliding into disaster.I would genuinely drop the whole team from Sunday and change the entire starting 11 as a statement to the players that the level of performance against Liverpool was unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

As it is I have absolutely no desire to watch these players for a while. Any goodwill they’ve built up this season has been well and truly thrown down the drain. Maybe by Thursday I will have calmed down a bit.

Like this team and Bruno needs a bit of a rest. However, I am sure Erik picks Bruno in place of Sancho/ Garnacho.---------------------------de Gea

Hoping to see Martial come on for Rashford at HT and McTominay for Casemiro.
I think I'd rest Bruno against Southampton as well.
Other than De Gea, I’d go with this.De gea

Sabitzer casemiro Fred

Team picks itself almost. Drop the worst offenders. And demand a response.
They literally won a trophy 8 days ago. And yes, lost one terrible game. It takes more than one game to turn our crowd, sunshine. Maybe the matchgoers you clearly disdain have a broader view of the situation. Their emotional investment is different. When you've spent a lot of time and money to support your team, year after year, creating a toxic environment is not as attractive a proposition as it is to an internet fan.As if the prawn sandwich eaters will ever boo anyone at Old Trafford. A very small section once booed Fellaini in a pre season game and the poor souls were widely ridiculed by the top reds.
This./Honestly, I don't have much interest in this game.
