As in, the bar for VAR to overrule an on-field decision is now higher. Which I actually agree with, but how can you have told referees to be conservative - let it go to VAR - and then suddenly tell them to change?

That's settles it.No space down the middle, need to keep working down the wings and flashing the ball inSame as every other game really. It wasn't technically correct though.
Weghorst WAS standing offside, but the ball is played to Fernandes. The defender then clears the pass away, but it loops up in the air.
by the defender playing the ball that then makes Weghorst back onside. How else do you think people are onside when defenders back pass to their keeper etc?- Status
