    Perhaps the most undeserved lead we've ever had, Reading been all over us really, Lukaku shocking until the goal, McTominay is just pointless, Pereira and Fred poor also, defense looks fragile, need I go on
     
    Second goal makes a huge difference Would like Chong to get a half and add some width and pace, against a team needing to attack there will be a lot of counters.
     
    2-0 is undeserved but I'll take it.

    That’s his problem, he scored goals but that is basically it in his game and when he goes out of form he offers very little to the team. But 3 in 3 we shouldn’t complain too much really!
     
    This line up is so ordinary. Can't believe we're 2-0 lead by half time.
     
    Being outplayed by Reading. This is next to some of the worst of Mourinho. A good manager would find the right way to get the players to wake the feck up second half.

    Some how 2-0. Been excellent for about thirty seconds three or four times, but otherwise mediocre.
     
    I really like Andreas but he's been very bad today. Maybe his best position is not #6 at all. Alexis had some good moments. Reading quite fast and making it hard for us. Jones bossing the defense :D.
     
    Lukaku fan here. Really glad he's banging in the goals again.
     
    There was a thread here about forwards not scoring goals like that anymore.

    Oh please - Darmian and Jones have been solid today. Fred and Pereira have been completely useless.
     
    2-0 is a great score for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we should be 5-2 down. Secondly, we can bring on Chong sooner now. Chong for me is the leading light of the reserves, ahead of Gomes.
     
    Fred does some terrible stuff but then he'll do something brilliant.

    I like him, think he's raw but there's definitely talent there.

    Not been impressed with the midfield sadly. Good job Reading can't shoot for shit so far.
     
    Absolutely horrendous midfield performance to be honest. How we're winning 2-0 I don't know!

    Darmians having a really good game though. Imagine if he ended up being the answer to our CB issues :lol:
     
    Was never going to be as fluent as recent games with the amount of changes, I'll be happy with a no frills win and prepare for Spurs next week.
     
    Not been our best, but rested the full team and we’re getting the job done without boring the pants off everyone. Classic early round FA cup performance from us.
     
    Brilliant pass for the second but my god that was a poor first half. Sanchez and Lukaku have looked dangerous when they get a decent ball.

    That midfield is killing us, I’d move Mata into that three and bring on Chong for Mctominay.
     
    Lukaku moaners and people who were bored with our patient style of play … please remember this is a cup game, we've heavily rotated given the opposition and … most importantly, we didn't win every game under SAF 10:0 in the first quarter!
