Yes but we have a bit too many of them...Did Lukaku really really step backwards after passing that ball to Sanchez instead of running on to drag defenders?I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, but the tempo of our play seems to substantially drop every time Mata starts on the right for us.I like how Fred wins the ball for many of our counters. He's doing well in terms of ball retrieval, but needs to improve his decision-making with the ball.You can so clearly see why none of these front 6 players are first choice, and none of them have any prospect of ever being first choice either.
McTominay and Pereira aren't going to be good enough for this club. Fred looks like a £10m signing not £50m. Lukaku is a colossal downgrade on Rashford in every department. Sanchez plays like a player on £40k a week not £400k.If Sanchez can’t impose himself in a game like this you start to wonder what his usefulness is long term.

I said he's a passenger in defense which he is. If you want to say he doesn't have to help out in defense like those you mentioned, id agree if we got that attacking output.
We don't have that individual quality of those players.
We need the whole team to work together, and winning the ball higher up the pitch would work wonders. Fred and mct have done it a couple times.
He won us and scored a penalty so he's winning the game at present. Doesn't mean he's playing well however
To say Sanchez needs to work harder is madness. Workrate is one thing you cannot fault Sanchez on. He needs to play in a fluent team. He would do better with runners around him on the same wave length like a Lingard, Martial or Rashford. I believe we can winFred always seems to be playing at a different pace to the rest of the team and not in a good way. Just gives the impression that he is never fully in control of the ball or aware of options around him. He has talent, but it is all a little chaotic at the moment.
Not really seeing that countless times already he’s been the closest person that could get at someone and he hasn’t even broken in to a fast jog. That should be the minimum expected of any player, he just looks like he is half arsing it.
Fred has ran past him at times to go and make a challenge. Needs to buck up in the 2nd half.- Status
