Great scenes at the end but did get very tense.

How on earth did so many blocks of rangers fans get tickets sorted in the home end? Any resulting trouble in the ground is on the club.
The tickets went on general sale in the end didn’t they?

Really easy for the to get a ticket.

We were in the East Stand last night and when we reached the concourse of the second tier there were around 50-60 Rangers fans stood singing their songs.

The lad in front of us going through the turnstiles asked how many away fans were in and he said ‘sh*t loads’.

    Not great.

    Did they?

My mate had to pay for a forwarding membership just to get my dad's season ticket because he couldn't make it.

Loads of them were in individual blocks. How were they allowed to get tickets together?

The whole thing was an absolute shambles. One of them (who sounded like he was from somewhere in Yorkshire ffs) called an Irish lad near us a "fenian ba**ard" when the lad responded, three stewards/police pounced on our fan. It was like they were told to let them get away with murder but stop any retaliation.

That being said, stewarding is a thankless task and they were really not helped by the club. This is the second season in a row where its happened. Cuts have consequences I suppose

What I have taken from that is that Rangers would be relegated from the Championship.

We barely scraped by them, mainly because they're so shockingly lacking in quality.

But....a win is a win, and this team needs results.

Maybe true for the team that finished the game, but that wasn’t our regular team though. We had most of our spine missing. And then lost two players at half time which largely swung the game because we didn’t have the options on the bench to adequately replace them. It was a miracle at all we stayed in the game with the combination of midgets, kids and full-backs in the wrong positions.

Or to put it another way, last night’s squad would be nowhere near the European results that we’ve delivered in recent years. Results which IMO are beyond the reach of Championship sides.

It was more a comment on United to be honest...I don't know Rangers 'normal' starting XI but I know that wasn't it.

A team with more experience / quality would have beaten us last night, was my point.

He won’t be gone this season. He’s gonna be here at the start of next season as long as we don’t drop near the relegation teams.
Agreed as long as the team stabilises between 9th and 12th otherwise he’s gone!

    If he’s managed a team that’s 14th -17th he’s gone!

The away fans in the home end is an overreaction. I remember being at a Champions League game against Celtic in 2006 and it felt like everyone around me was going mental celebrating when Celtic went 1-0 up.I don't recall a reaction that the club were moneygrabbers letting them in etc.

It's anything to bash the club nowadays because the football team is shit. Same reaction about OT being a shithole just because we've stood still on it for 20 years, still 15-20 years ahead of Anfield and the biggest stadium in the league. People just lay it on when we're crap.

How are away fans getting into the home end? Especially in a European match. There’s bound to be a lot of kicking off.
