    Most United fans agree with you, I’m enjoying him playing in the CM/8 role more than the 10.
     
    Amad been playing way too selfishly recently, the strikers don't have a chance of knowing when or if he is going to release the ball
     
    Great finish to the game, but we nearly threw it all away again.
    Hanging on to the lead, despite dominating possession, relying on an own goal to scrape over the line.
    We set ourselves up for that Rangers goal and throwing the game away.
    Thank feck for Martinez and Bruno.

    So when the team does well it’s the managers fault, when they fail it’s theirs? The players saved him at the end with individual brilliance, it wasn’t tactical. Let’s let Ruben prove himself to us rather than assuming he is going to do well before anything is proven.
     
    A game of football threatened to break out a couple times. Really can’t believe we didn’t put them to the sword. Beauty of a ball from Licha and a sexy finish to spare our blushes. We really are not very good though.

    What’s worse is they are both physically monsters and can’t even push smaller defenders off the ball, neither of them imposes themselves on the opposition or look to threaten the goal in the 6 yard box.

    You don't understand football.
    Manager can't take the blame for individual mistakes.
    He set us up good, we created a lot of chances and controlled the game. That's his job.
    Players HAVE TO be able to score or defend an easy cross!!!!

    It’s too easy to attack the poster and not their ideas. We’re yet to see if this system is good. So far we often look open in the midfield, a very young Rangers side got at us far too often in that second half. The players did score and won us the match, with individual brilliance.
     
    Decent performance that. Also the team had some desire to win today, dominated the game, passed it around much better and without the Maguire clanger - should have been an easy finish.

    Thankfully Bruno scored that goal and we don’t have to talk about another draw due to individual errors.

    Also, Ugarte looked very off the pace when he came on. So did Mainoo.

    What the hell are you talking about?
    We moved the ball forward, crossed it and finally someone was able to finish.
    Bruno didn't take on 5 players, it wasn't solo goal made with individual brilliance.
    We did what we've been doing for the whole game and finally put the ball in the back of the net.
    Rangers never looked threatening don't know what game you watched. We actually won and recovered almost every ball.

    They definitely did threaten, it’s a bit biased to suggest otherwise. Martinez and Bruno combined fantastically to save us, it wasn’t a tactical change or the set up that won us the match. It’s too easy to say well we were on top for a bit without making too many cutting edge chances so the system works but football is a lot more nuanced than that. So far in this system we’ve created very little and wait for the opposition to give us opportunities to attack, as said by Amorim.

    Got lucky, his record played 16 won 6 drawn 3 Lost 7, like he said we need to win games to win time!

    He has a 37.5% win rate and if that’s is his same win rate after 30 matches in charge he’ll be gone!

    Rangers in the 2nd half had a chance that was offside so wouldn't have counted, some shots from range and then a goal from a long ball that our CB was soft on, while having only 35% of the ball. How did they get at us too often? It was chance after chance for us. Just fecking put the ball in the net when you get a clear chance and we don't have this discussion.

    Even Amorim has admitted that we lost control of the game. *edit * according to google Rangers actually had more shots on target than us.

    Shots on target is a nonsense stat when it's random pot shots from outside of the box piling it up

    He won’t be gone this season. He’s gonna be here at the start of next season as long as we don’t drop near the relegation teams.
     
    When you bag a stoppage time winner you are going to feel pretty good about the game. Boy do we make life hard on ourselves though.

    That was a Championship level team that literally limped to full time playing kids.

    You can only beat what's in front of you. Thank God what was in front of us tonight was very average.

    Let's hope we get a couple of wins and this all looks much better with confidence up.

    Fulham are miles better than this team. They will take at least one of their chances and we are struggling to take or create enough of ours
     
    Great scenes at the end but did get very tense.

    How on earth did so many blocks of rangers fans get tickets sorted in the home end? Any resulting trouble in the ground is on the club.
