Playing with Zirkzee is playing a man down. I don’t know what specific role he’s trying to play in this team cuz he’s nowhere close to where he needs to be at key moments and couldn’t score in a brothel.Why do we throw the ball long to Zirkzee?
We bought two strikers who were not playing as a lone target man at their existing clubs and then we seem surprised when they struggle with the role. I do think they have complimentary skills and Ruben should be trying to get them on the pitch together more often as ZZ does have decent link up play and holds the ball well and Rasmus does have the ability to finish.McCoist is like the anti-neville on comms. Wouldn't be surprised if he's sitting there in a full Rangers kit
