I thought Martial has been the best of the front 4 tonight.Our attack is letting itself down. Poor decision making all round.Mata and Young on for Memphis and Lingard.

Sorry I didn't see the first half, I was lighting the beacon of Amon Din in tribute to Luke Shaw.Everything was there but the goal.. We'll get one or two in the 2nd and will go top tonight..We are so dull to watch. Yeah, me too. I came in here being happy with our display, but I'm gonna leave feeling like this is the worst display ever performed by a football team at any level.
Nah, Rooney gets that nod from me - I've criticised him enough recently so have to acknowledge when he does well. Martial has been hit/miss but not bad.
even ITV never let Saint and Greavesie actually commentate... fecking comedy duoI think the lack of team cohesion is showing, Martial, Memphis, Lingard and Rooney have not had much time to gel over the season and I think its hurting us today.
Martial especially I think he is not as sharp as he is usually, hopefully he doesn't need more than a few games to get back to 100%

Rooney has done nothing for me. I think maybe this shows how much the standards have dropped for him. He's been average at best in my opinion.
Defintely, great to see our play when we have 2 proper pacy wingers in Lingard and Depay, been along time since we had that much pace, Mata on the wings is an absolute waste
Surprised as well. That Lingard tiki-taka-bit when he shot and Martial almost scored was a joy. We should be 2-0 up. I'd like to see Martial and Memphis swap positions, though.I'm such a weirdo. Thought he'd be much better at changing the angle of our attack with his passing. But Jesus, LvG is some innovator, that's for sure. Rooney who is actually scored quite a few headers from corners or free kicks is playing a defensive pick-up outside of the box, from Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin it's the later who is doing more ball distribution. Out of Smalling and Blind it's the former who is taking the ball to the opponent's half and is more often starts the attack. If Jones was healthy he would probably be taking corners.
It's like our whole game is based on the concept of "you would not expect that". Which is fine sometimes. When it's in 10-15% of the cases that's actually could be brilliant. But if it's a constant theme, it kind of defeats the whole purpose.I have been impressed with PSV conters.
But our defence has been pretty solid. Really can see LvG has spent a lot of time in that area.
I remember someone saying of the brilliant Richie Benaud that when he commentated, he only talked when there was something to say - Savage just wants to hear his own voiceS & S just refusing to make attacking runs. They get the ball to attack but then both stop twenty yards behind and spectate.
I think that would be a good move.
Do not see any movement from Depay. OR put him center and move Martial wide.
