Good shot from Martial there.Good from Martial.Why when Rooney plays well do Martial and Depay play like they've never kicked a ball in their lives? Very frustrating.
I have. I just haven't been blinded by him finally making some passes. When the going is easy (first 15), he's done alright. Since then, very little.
0 tackles. 0 interceptions. No help for Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger.

He simply hasn't offered enough defensively, creatively or in terms of shots, in what is a top heavy team for me, so far.

Poor half. Not enough quality in midfield as an attacking force. Seem to remember saying that before... Rooney got well lucky there, that was an awful attempted tackle.Rooney very lucky not to go in the book there but probably wouldn've been a clever booking to give anyway.
I enjoyed that half. We're unlucky not to be a couple of goals up and we had a proper go at them. Will be interested to see the stats but I reckon we've had 5 or 6 shots on target and 3 or 4 other good chances.
Darmian, Blind, Rojo, Schneiderlin and Rooney have been excellent.If only Jones hadn't Jones'd himself, we could use him and push Blind into midfield. Schweinsteiger is offering feck all today.
