    I think most were arguing in hope rather than belief that we were above the Europa League.

    It's our level for the time being.
     
    Really hope that Williams is rested for the PL. Thought Garner could have started.
     
    Ole cant really complain if players start breaking down with injuries, he’s got to gamble with team selections more in these kind of games.
     
    Very poor team selection. No point playing both Martial and Rashford in games like this. Also we have only 2 fit CMs, so McT or Fred should have been rested with Garner playing.
     
    That's an oddly strong lineup.

    No excuses for Mata there, if he cant pick passes with those lot running around him he will never do it.

    Agreed! No idea why he went so strong, unless he just wants to make sure they finish the group off tonight.

    I think we should definitely be closer to the top 4 than we are, my expectation (which I still think was realistic) was that we'd be in the fight for 4th but night have missed out. That's a pipe dream now.
     
    Very odd lineup. Don't see the need of rashford, McTominay and Maguire starting particularly given Rashford injury issues and that the fact that our CM and CB options are very thin.
     
    Surprised at how experienced the line up is. Though Young being suspended at the weekend explains the lack of Williams. I guess if we can get a couple of goals for a lead some of the young players will come on. Nice to see Greenwood starting again though.
     
    strange to go with such a strong team. Needed to rotate a bit more I think. Can still see us struggle to break them down.
     
    9/11 players right for me. I honestly didn’t expect more thsn 5 right. I thought Mctominay might have been rested and garner given a go. We have selected a strong team for this.
