As soon as AWB comes off they get a goal from the left side into the middle. Maguire was all over the place in that move too, not good

I do not trust this team going into a game we cannot lose, bar a couple, they're all bottlers

One positive is Greenwood has looked bright since he’s come on, we need to get him and Cavani playing together ASAP.

I didn't know anything and neither did you.

Fred didn't get sent off because of a poor challenge leading to a second yellow, he got sent off because the ref is a cnut. A world of difference mate.
Should have been sent off first half. If it had been the other way around we would have been calling the ref a cnut. Ole should have subbed him half time

We should have been 4-1 up before going down to ten men.

Not sure why Ole's being blamed for this.

At 4-1 we could have two men sent off and still won the game.

71mins played without making a sub when you can make 5 and we had a walking red card waiting to happen. Not to mention we only needed a draw and so he could’ve subbed off Rashford to solidify the midfield. Then sit back for the last 20mins and if you knick a goal the great. If not it doesn’t matter as we’d be in the CL last 16.

Catastrophic game management aided and abetted by terrible finishing, a moron in central midfield and some huge slices of luck for PSG.

I don't disagree with either of you, I was just saying why I thought Ole kept him on. Would have taken him off ay half time myself.

I do think it's unfair to hold accountable Ole for a poor refereeing mistake though, and Fred for that matter. The latter improved ten-fold in the second half, only for the ref to stitch him up to recover his first half error.
But even if it was a refereeing mistake in that instance, Fred obviously didn't act as if he was on a yellow, lunging in like that into a 50/50. If he hadn't been sent off for that, he would've been for the next one that didn't get the ball. You just don't lunge in like that on a yellow if you're not an idiot.

Twice. But this is also a learning curve for him. Why he needs to bury those chances, what he needs to do to bury those chances, it's training, training and training to shoot for the corners where nobody can go stop him.
Bit harsh to blame him for the second miss, they were throwing bodies there.

The first one was awful, no argument there.

    That's screwed up our H2H.

Massively. A 2-1 defeat was way better than 3-1. Our GD was loads better than theirs. Should have been more conservative and kept AWB on. That 3rd goal doesn't happen with him on the pitch.

This shouldn’t have been so important because we should have beaten Istanbul.

I have no idea how we let this game get away from us - well, it's happened quite a lot, control the game then we cack ourselves.

We've morphed into a late Wenger Arsenal minus the good football.

This loss is all on Ole. Horrible, horrible substitutions.

We dominated last years CL winners. So the defeat is on Ole but the dominating a great team is on him too. The result flatters them since the 15th minute.

    Piss poor management I'm afraid.

And a good example of what happens when you waste chances when you're on top at the highest level.

    feck off

Have to say it again, the subs were strange to say the least.....

PSG will beat Istanbul, so Leipzig will need to beat us to qualify. Same situation as PSG today. Topping the group is no longer an option. But I suppose qualifying out of the group is the most important now.

All those crying about Fred and blaming Ole.

We had 3 gold plated opportunities to put this to bed. Isn't this on Cavani, Rashford and Martial?

I’m not crying about Fred at all and Rashford and Martial were their usual brand of unimpressive.

Harsh on Cavani though as if his very narrowly missed chipped effort had gone in he’d have been a hero. He didn’t have a bad game at all.

Leaving Fred on was a massive error though. If you’d have run a poll at half time on here ‘should we take Fred off?’ It would have been a landslide. He was a huge risk. And I’m not knocking Fred too much, one of my favourite players. Ole really fluffed that one Colin.

We don't DESERVE to be losing this game... but if you don't take your chances, you pay the price. And it was entirely predictable (we were talking about it here) that with the chances missed they would make the most of that. And we are paying the price in this match.

I don’t think we should be too disheartened from today. PSG lost to us and have come back from it. We just need to do the same against Leipzig. We have the better team just need to show it one more time.

Ole Gunnar sure isn't doing himself any favours.

Trying to be clever and it backfired into his face. (not taking Fred off)

Left us dumbfecked by a very very poor PSG team.

That's actually a huge goal to have given away if my understanding of the rules are right. Means PSG top the group if they and us win last games.
Ole shows his naivety again. As if Ighalo was worth throwing on. Just take the 2-1 and play it out ffs, we had half a chance down to 10 anyway from a corner.

Martial lost us the match today. Je should not start actually, he is useless.

How Ole did not replace Fred, I don't know, the red card was coming, it was so obvious.

Massively. A 2-1 defeat was way better than 3-1. Our GD was loads better than theirs. Should have been more conservative and kept AWB on. That 3rd goal doesn't happen with him on the pitch.

Absolutely and there was no need to put another striker on, the shape was there.
