I'm a bit worried with our relative inexperience in the CL compared to them. They are there year after year and their players are familiar with the pressure, not sure about our guys.

Yes they're there year after year, getting thrashed as soon as they hit the knockouts. Don't worry :)

Today's the day. Don't know how I'm gonna wait till the game.

Pretty confident we will win. Hopefully with a cleansheet.

Looking forward to the game. Feeling confident we can get a good result.

Work is going to drag today!

I was feeling confident all last week and now its here I'm feeling the dreaded doubt! Just hope all the players turn up and put a performance in

You all being all positiv and giddy is making me really uncomfortable about this game.

The way some of you talk it's as if only PSG have an attack and we don't. And lately we've actually tightened up the back despite some of you refusing to see it. Sure we still concede chances in games but that's normal, every team does.

They, PSG would have to worry about Pogba, Martial and Rashford but for some reasons this fact is lost on some. Our midfield easily outclasses their makeshift midfield but that's also not highlighted by those who are so adamant in seeing us as underdogs when the reality is that they are the underdogs especially in current specific circumstances.

And the same defence people love to shit on dealt with Ronaldo for the most part over 2 legs but let's keep this narrative that they are hopeless against any decent attack before even a ball has been kicked.
Calm down super supporter, you are getting carried away with what I posted. I never said we were going to get beat, just suggesting its not going to be the walk in the park the poster was suggesting.
But lets keep this narrative that people can't offer a realistic opinion going eh?

We've got this one, don't worry. This week is a big week for us, can't see us losing at all. I reckon we'll blast them away in the first 20 minutes with a flurry of goals.

Desperately need a strong start tonight. If we start the game the way we started the Fulham match, then we could be 1 or 2 goals down in no time.

I'm confident that once we have settled in we can cause this team some troubles. Going for a 1-0 win tonight though.

Looking forward to being at OT tonight. Not going overboard with my optimism though. It's still PSG. They could still tear us a new one to view reality through. But I expect a good game. And any win will have me over the moon.
    Patrick Evra though...most delightfully unhinged!

So their midfield is likely to be Verratti, Dani Alves and Paredes?
Terrifying how much optimism there is around here. I'd love to see Sanchez start, don't know why but have a feeling he could be the match winner for us.
Apart from being a Sanchez fan, why else would you want Sanchez to start? he's been pretty average most matches when played on the wing.

On the other hand they play in a weak league where they dick on everybody else week-in-week-out, while we have ten league fixtures a year against CL-quality opposition.

Bursting for this one and quietly optimistic. This is, however, bonus territory and I won't be calling for anyone's head if it goes tits up.

I've genuinely gone from having no hope that we'll beat PSG, to thinking we can perhaps scrape a win, to now thinking we're going to win comfortably.

    3-1 United.

Feels great knowing we wont be there to defend and actually have a go. Martial and Rashford to get goals tonight. Just hoping for the cleansheet. Hopefully the players can wont get too nervy and will go out there with no pressure.

I think Bailly starts this one to cover Lindelof and deal with Mbappe''s pace.

I'm very confident - surely destined for let down :wenger:

Stop being so god damn positive! You know we lose when we are optimistic. I wanna see the 0-5 predictions and negative comments about how shit Ashley Young is.

I however am a little bit more pessimistic,- if we win it's going to be by one goal I think, 2-1 or 3-2, and PSG will win in the second leg.

    Solskjaer, prove me wrong.

Mahn, this feeling of relaxed confidence that no matter the result we are gonna be proud of our boys.

Don't know why but 3-1 win seems stuck in my head, could be the early seeds of clairvoyance sprouting :wenger:

Can just come in here five minutes after kick off for that...

I dunno, as I said, just a feeling I have. I thought he looked sharp when he came on on Saturday.

He's always been alert and hussling to be fair to him. Better when the other players are tired as he doesn't look so slow.

Time to put right that abject home performance against Juventus earlier in the season.

Don’t mind if a team is genuinely top quality and outclass us but this should be a nightmare for PSG tonight at Old Trafford in terms of the work they need to put in.

Quite confident we’ll get a positive result. More so if Rashford has his shooting boots on.

Few more hours before catching the train to Manchester.

These games are what it’s all about. Pumped.

It's a while since I've looked forward to a game this much. Hard to believe, as it wasn't long since I was dreading this draw when it was made.

We’re going to start off really well, dominate and attack, get an early 1-0 goal. After that it’ll be a bit back and forth until we get a second goal and we’ll go into half time with 2-0. Then PSG will make some tactical adjustments in the break and will dominate most of the second half, eventually scoring 2-1. After that the game is going to be more even, but we’ll counter in 3-1.
