I trust that ETH knows what he’s doing in his lineups and what the stamina limits are for our regular starters.

Our squad rotation players aren’t good enough and he clearly doesn’t trust them. Wants to continue to build cohesion with the best players available, which is smart.

Casa & Bruno but Rapha hasn't played since Arsenal so got no issue with that one. Trouble is with McTominay out and Sabitzer only just signed we haven't players available to rest either.

Casemiro was always going to play this. He probably gets a rest if McT was fit. Same with Bruno. VDB is injured and likely plays here if he were fit.

Strong team but recent lineups made it clear he would to that way. At least Rashford is rested and I just hope that we're still comfortable by half time so we can see some changes early. It would be great to see Sancho back on the pitch and Martial clearly needs minutes to build up fitness too.

Always funny when the Caf is in that FM mindset of just play all youth & backups up 3-0 in a 2nd leg and see it out. But real football isn't FM, Forest gets 1 and it's eh. Then they get a 2nd and it's uh oh twitchy bum time.

For all the talk of wholesale rotation, it's clear that ETH isn't going to throw in a load of players from the youth teams, it's not his style. He also has limited options for rotation with several injuries, so has probably rotated as many as he dares for a semi-final leg, even if we are 3-0 up.
