Please God no. Seeing Lingard as a sub was bad enough.If we're ever gonna try a 4-3-3, this Newcastle at home would be as good a time as any.Sancho will start. Apparently he is expected to shake off the knock in time for Newcastle game. Probably a precaution more than an injury.

Well Sancho is injured, Martial is out of form, James is gone & McTominay is injured, which probably means Pogba plays centrally. So I can definitely see it. Lingard ended last season well, looked good in pre season & just scored a brace for England. I reckon he’ll start.Expecting this lineup, although I wouldn’t start Fred personally.

My guess. Only Bruno on international duty from that midfield and attack (Ronaldo only 1 game and then has the full week to prep), Pogba rested for the CL, everyone should be fit and fresh.
Lingards only chance for this one is if we start managing Bruno's game time and rest him for the CL as well.Zero chance Pogba gets rested this early in the season after a couple of dodgy performances against Soton and Wolves (not by Pogba specifically). And also definitely not when McTominay is injured and Matic had a horror show last time out.
Van de Beek won't start a game before the West Ham Cup game.Ronaldo will not be with the team until Thursday I guess, so I doubt he will start, unless we have injuries (Sancho for exemple) and with Cavani staying at Manchester, I guess he will start.
