Hopfully Sancho is fit, as I'll like him to get a run of games to build fitness and confidence, because he looked short of both so far. Pogfred should continue and try build a relationship there, they should be enough to control the game as Varaguire should be capable of taking care of Saint Maximini and co. Ronaldo to score two, Bruno one, Greenwood one, Cavani One, Pogba,Bruno and Sancho to assist, 5-0 United.

He’ll start. And will be taken off in the 60th minute. Right after scoring his hattrick. 30 mins of very loud “viva ronaldo” ensured.

A very weird post. Nobody needs to be handing around their season ticket QR code. The whole point of the ticket forwarding system is that it disables one QR code and generates a new one-time use one.

How would we know that, when the digital ticket system has only been in use for one game?

Because you can compare the QR codes of the season ticket and a QR code generated by the ticket forwarding system for a single match. You can try it right now by forwarding a ticket to yourself under a secondary e-mail.

You think the ticket forwarding system is going to send the QR code to someone for all 19 home league matches?

The whole point of the system is that it disables one QR code and produces another without allowing the sender or receiver access to the other.

So I’m assuming this won’t be on TV. What a shame. Hopefully will be able to find a decent stream. The demand for streams around the world will be mental

Scott is out till October with groin surgery. And what on earth has Pogba done to you that you'd drop him against Newcastle of all opponents? There's a strong argument he's been our best player so far this season.

Is the UK the only region in the world where it will not be broadcast on live TV?

I know there were reports yesterday that he is been released from international duty early but has Ronaldo actually arrived in the UK yet? With the quarantine process he would want to be in the UK in the next day or two or he probably won't make the Newcastle match.

He just scored 2 goals in injury time. It may be not a good idea to sub him off at all (let alone the fact that in principle he doesn’t like to be subbed off).

Is that true about McT... thought he was only missing 1 game (Wolves)

Why can’t this be this weekend?!

It feels as if we’ve been two weeks without United already.

We both accessed the stadium with our digital season ticket QR codes and there wasn't a unique QR ticket sent out for the Leeds match to either of us.

And we haven't received individual QR tickets for the Newcastle game either.

A little bit curious this match isn't televised, some matches you just clear the schedule for, the return of the GOAT (after Messi.. I kinda hate that I have to stand by my principles now that he's back at United) is certainly one.

I remember when Ole took over Manchester, the first home match was immediately televised, for free, on TV in Norway

A Manchester United win is no guarantee.

But I wonder what Newcastle fans must be thinking now. Every player will give 10% more playing with Ronaldo on his debut in front of a sell out Old Trafford.

Landed today. 5 days quarantine. Should be ready for the game

Please read, as I am close to giving up.

Season ticket holders have one QR code for all 19 home league matches. If you want to attend all 19 home league matches, you are fine. You just use this QR code (and get other QR codes for cup games).

If you want to pass on your ticket for one of these home league matches, you do not pass on this season ticket QR code. Instead, you log into your account and use the ticket forwarding system. This will disable your season ticket QR code for the one match and generate a one-time-use QR code for the recipient. The recipient never sees the season ticket QR code, and the sender never sees the one-time-use QR code. Neither can accidentally or fraudulently prevent the access of the other for the one-off match or future matches.

3pm kick off blackout in the UK. Any game Saturday 3pm does not get broadcasted (except through Covid where an exception was made), I believe there is legislation in place to protect this.

That's very curious, do you happen to know what's the reason behind that? Preserving family time?

This follows a rule set in place since the 1960s when Burnley chairman Bob Lord successfully convinced fellow Football League chairmen that televised matches on Saturday afternoons would negatively impact the attendance of lower league games.

He was convinced, for instance, that if Manchester United were to play Liverpool on Saturday at 3pm, fans of lower division teams would instead opt to watch the match on television instead of attend the match of the team they actually supported.

As a result, the financial income of lower league football would be reduced.

More than 40 years on, the rule is still in place. Foreign matches are also affected by the blackout – Sky Sports do not show the first 15 minutes of a La Liga match that kicks off at 5pm UK time.

Until recently, the FA Cup final was an exception and had been broadcast at 3pm on a Saturday in May; however, in 2012, the FA Cup Final was moved to 5pm.

To be in accordance with blackout rules, the final day of the Premier League has all ten games kick-off at the same time on Sunday at 3pm with the final round of Football League fixtures scheduled from 3pm onwards on a Saturday in order to broadcast multiple games.

During the blackout period, live radio broadcasts are permitted both nationally and locally.

It is also illegal for public houses such as pubs and bars to broadcast 3pm games via a live stream.

Good stuff, this is much quicker than ringing the ticket office!

Also, how will we receive the new QR codes for the cup games. Will this be via email, or do we have to fish them out from the website ourselves?

He will start as long he already arrived in Manchester now. Starting him will boost the crowd even crazier. If Varane introduction turned our performance into madness vs Leeds, I could see better performance if we start Ronaldo. Everyone will be buzzing.
