    We will live or die based on Matic I guess. If he plays poorly I don't see how we are gonna survive the midfield battle.
     
    VdB is our 5th choice CM. He's a squad player, he's not going to start games most of the time. I dont get the faux outrage everytime he doesnt.

    As will be the case all season, we will live and die on our midfield not being ran through. All we need from the midfield is for them to be adequate and we should be fine

    Same, how can people expect VDB to start when he isn't a defensive midfielder???

    Imagine a 3-man midfield of Pogba, Bruno and VDB. It just wouldn't work atall

    The outrage is that Ole for some reason refused to sell him and refuses to give him chances to play either. It's ridiculous. If you don't think someone is even good to be the 5th or whatever choice, sell. This club is keeping a lot of deadwood already, there's no need for more.

    He will get his chance, maybe 10-15 starts a season. He's a squad player. Should Ole sell Telles as well, considerign he plays even less than Donny? He's a good option to have as 5th choice(considering Pogba often plays on the left as well). United comes first, not Donny.

    Because as his agent's comments, the transfer fee we paid and VDB's reputation before he arrived made clear, he wasn't brought here to be our 5th choice midfielder. And (again as per his agent's comments) their expectation is still that he'll get regular game time.

    So if he's going to be our 5th choice midfielder then that raises massive question marks as to our judgement in signing and keeping him. Particularly as he's 5th choice behind some very ordinary players.
     
    I believe VDB would do a better job than Pogba in the middle.
    We signed Sancho to play RW but are starting him LW. I’d rather Pogba on the left. Greenwood or CR7 up front. Or change the system.
