According to you we don't need any. In what world is Van de Beek a holding midfielder? And let's not go off what he said by his recent interview where he said he was a 6. On the few occasions when he played as a 6 in a pivot at Ajax, it was always with a more aggressive midfielder, more notably with Martinez.
I don't think it will happen today but I'd like to see him get some more minutes next to Fred or McTominay.Unbelievable that we can't watch this in the UK.

I agree. It's utterly baffling how cautious some people are. What do we have to lose anyway? I'd understand the logic behind it if Fred was playing well, but Fred has been atrocious for some time now and he was never really particularly good. How is giving Donny some time gonna hurt us? The way people are speaking about Donny and Fred's situation, you'd be thinking we're looking to replace Bruno or something.
