Is VdB injured? Thought McTominay and Pogba being injured would be his shot, and normally I don't think we'd play with Matic and Fred against Newcastle, I struggle to see us creating much. How come no Cavani too? Seems like his sort of game with how crowded their box is going to be, and Martial has been just terrible for a while now, I can see a lot of dribbles into 3 of their defenders from him and Rashford. I'm not normally this negative, but that lineup is as if we're in the 2nd leg of a tie we've already won (which isn't entirely Ole's fault, it's exposing our lack of attacking depth again).

This is the exact game that we will concede because De Gea gets mauled by an attacker on a cross and no foul is called

Exactly. De Gea is also visibly low on confidence which affects the trust the back four puts in him, while Henderson had a very confident display against Sociedad.

Sometimes I really wonder what the feck Ole is thinking.

No one’s gonna ask him about De Gea then...
And what's he gonna say? Yeah well, I realise that everybody wants deano, but I'm the manager so go feck yerself.....
Or. yeah, he's been dogshit this season, but unfortunately the cretins upstairs are paying him 400 grand a week and say I have to play him...

The matchday doesnt feel complete without coming on the caf and seeing random people pretend they know better than the manager .. its not just an Ole things.. this shit has been going on for years.

Martial was always going to start with Cavani's injury, Greenwood isn't quite ready to play as a no. 9 against PL defenses. I'd personally have Mason over James though. Hopefully James proves me wrong. Rest of the team picks itself. Need Matic to have a good game and keep the ball moving quickly.

You have to feel for DVB, the first opportunity to get into midfield and he’s got an injury. Typical.

I'm a time traveler from the future. We're losing this one. Unless this comment creates a butterfly effect that makes us win.

That would be amazing. Millions of fans crying their eyes out and playing FM or Fifa to calm themselves down.

Martial starting is worrying me a lot. I know he’s our only striker but he hasn’t earned a starting place for me and Ole has tried to ‘play him into form’ since September. Please prove us wrong .

Numerical ordering of team sheets is proper shithousery.

Aye, and even worse is when, say, the goalkeeper wears a high squad number and they put him first in the list and then the rest are ordered numerically.

Even if it costs us top four or a trophy? That's utter lunacy. Keepers should be judged the same as outfield players, if you're having a stinker and costing your team points most weeks you should be dropped.
I’m not saying i disagree but genuinely what do you think of the chances of DDG been dropped in the PL this season are ?

I hope that we take care not to concede after a few minutes as it seems to be happening to us in a few games.

What have De Gea & Lindelof gotta do to not be in the Ole favourites club, know he is a bit of a youtube clown but reckon he is listening to Goldbridge who is a staunch defender of DDG.

Lindelof Martial and De Gea. Again. Christ.

The trifecta of uselessness who will end up costing Ole his job.

Is it too much to ask for no bullshit performance in perspective of tough fixtures ahead ? C'mon United.

Martial and Lindelof starting. Christ above. Lindelof and Maguire will give up a handful of one-on-ones against their pacey attack.

Time to throw a fiver on Newcastle.

I just don’t understand James, Matic and Lindelof. Has Ole learnt anything from Sheffield Utd and West Brom? Don’t underestimate the opponent.

This is Shelveys cup final and I bet he will try to run rings around a slow fading Matic. James scores a goal and is now a starter and we all know about that CB partnership.

Doesn’t fill me with confidence at all.
