I'm glad James is playing. I know Newcastle are going to play deep, but the guy works his arse off and could force them into a mistake. I would start him over Martial, to be honest.

A bit surprised but can see the purpose with Matic. But James? Made sense in the EL cup where we tried to counter attack but this match we must surely expect to dominate. Don’t see what he brings to the table then.

Agreed. Martial, Lindelof, De Gea and James hardly warrant starts here. James had a decent game in the Europa but come on. Utterly ridiculous management to continue to start players that have been the root cause of us dropping points over thre past three PL games.

It’s only really Greenwood missing for our strongest team. Bailly as well but with his injury issues I wouldn’t be playing him back to back either.

Me too. Martial is horrific at the moment, and it's like playing with 10 men.

Ole keeps giving him opportunities to find form. Hopefully tonight is the night, because this is must win.
