I think it's something to do with how lanky he is or something. But he has been playing well, in that awkward way.Dont have the slightest idea how will we start. If we'll go with 3-5-2 where will Di Maria start?
If we go with 4-4-2, Carrick, Rooney and Di Maria in midfield or if Fellaini is starting Rooney instead of Mata behind the strikers.
Falcao absolutely must start, no purpose in him sitting it out or coming of the bench after he started the last one.
Maybe we'll go with 4-2-3-1, who knows..

With Fel, Blind injured. I think we'll stick with a 352, much the same as the last game, except Di Maria to start.
As someone said above Falcao needs to start this one, let's tear them apart!Would like to see Falcao start up front on his own with Mata and Rooney behind him. Hope to see AdM start in a central role with Carrick beside him.

We're home so I don't think we'll play 3-5-2Well if it's anything like two years ago, anger and jubilation is on the menu today.
Didn't think he boozed much, prob still got an xmas day fag behind his ear thoughLvG was disappointed with Fletcher last week so I don't think he will play today. With Blind out injured and probably Fellaini and Herrera as well LvG has no choice but to play Carrick as a holding CM and not a libero type of CB, even though the difference between the roles can be subtle. The big question for today is if LvG will play only two defenders (Jones and Evans) or if he will play three at the back (Jones, Evans, and Blackett). The latter will offer more defensive cover obviously and will allow Carrick to be our play maker.

want to see rooney further up the pitch but desperate to see both RVP and falcao starting too.
