Not sure what would be worse. Going out to this nobody of a team, or squeaking through and getting tonked by someone like Napoli or Dortmund.

Also older players are letting the youngsters down here big time. Mata, Carrick, Blind and Romero should be ashamed. Mata especially after his "defending" in the reverse leg

This is what is bothering me about hiring Mourinho, even though I grant that he's the best manager available. The kids actually look like they can do something and give a feck, it's the senior players who aren't showing fight or leadership. But Mou doesn't usually play youth.

Such a shame Mata missed. Some of the performances of the younger players was fantastic and we deserved that goal. Senior players letting the rest down. Hope Mata makes up for it. We'd really have been in the driver's seat at 2-1.

I believe Berba had more ability than Mata and would have been a near-perfect striker for LVG's system but I agree he just didn't fit in Sir Alex's style of play.
