Makes sense. Lots of experience in the back 6 and then youth up top.

Big question is if Memphis is the 10 with Pereira out wide, vice versa or a 4-3-3 with Pereira alongside Fellaini, which would be my choice. Give Carrick room to pick some passes, gets Fellaini forward more, gives Wilson a bit more room, too.

Would be more comfortable with some more first teamers as I'd love to win this competition and get into winning ways buy it's always exciting to see the kids. Exciting and dynamic front four out our youngsters.

Yeah. The odds of a CB injury are low, but it seems impossible to think we'll win anything of note without Smalling, so I'd rest him here too. Along with Martial and De Gea, the 3 players we basically need to have healthy.

Though I suppose Blind-Jones could be adequate, tough to see us winning the league or getting too deep in the CL with it.

Very Fergie team that - youth + players needing a game in the league cup.

But, Boro are a really good side. Think LVG is underestimating them, personally would much rather start a stronger team, try to build a lead THEN bring on the kids. Pretty worried now.
