Drop Ronaldo, give him cameo substitute bench appearances and let him leave the club mutually at the end of the season where he can then join a club like Sporting Lisbon or MLS club (or another club in a different league) who will play to his strengths and then he can enjoy the last few years of his career before retirement. Everyone's happy then.. including probably Ronaldo himself, his backstabbing teammates who leaked the Athletic article and the bullying British media. Who if this was Harry Kane or a British player dropping so deep and not scoring they'd blame Rangnick and his tactics for not playing to his strengths to get the best out of the World Class player he has. Double standards and hypocrites.

    Sir Alex Ferguson when we purchased Van Persie told the players to pass to him. Nobody behind the scenes at Manchester United is pulling Greenwood aside and telling him to pass to Ronaldo obviously.

    In the 90th minute at home in one of the biggest games of the season when you are desperately needing a goal and the best goal-scorer in history isn't in the box there's something wrong.

    he was scoring loads for Ole and Carrick (against Arsenal on the day Rangnick joined!) yet has only scored a penalty against Norwich away and Burnley at home which came back off the crossbar. No assists for any of goals from his teammates since Rangnick joined. So in my eyes it must be tactical from Rangnick.. there's no other way to explain why Ronaldo's goal output has dropped off a cliff.

    But Sky, Gary Neville etc won't give a fancy tactical breakdown and analysis as they are too busy pushing the agendas that Ronaldo is the problem etc yet like I said if it was Harry Kane or a British player Rangnick and his tactics would get the blame.

    Jesus, give it a rest would you? Every comment i've seen from you is saying pretty much the same thing.

    The game you're referring to when he wasn't in the box is when he played an important pass from deep that allowed us to score and win the match, without his contribution we wouldn't have won. He doesn't have to score every goal as long as he's helping the team. Besides, he was also quite wasteful against West Ham and hasn't been at top form so I have absolutely no problem with him dropping back and helping build up. Especially if it's the winner. He's a world class finisher and definitely one of the GOATS but that doesn't mean he can't help out the attack.
     
    Neil Warnock has said he would ñot swap any of United's defence for Boro's.

    Amad should be given a shot before Lingard who shouldn’t be in the squad at all imo

    I expect Amad to go out on loan. It Lingard is staying until the end of the season, he deserves to be in the squad just as much as any other player leaving in the summer (Henderson, Pogba, Cavani, maybe Jones and Matic as well).
     
    Why are people making loads of changes. Most of the squad will be rested for two weeks. The only ones who might rest are the few on international duty.

    Tough game to Burnley on the Tuesday that's a must win. I'd rest a good few for Middlesborough but not everybody. Our second 11 are mostly pretty good so it's still a strong team.

    Classical example of game raising cnuts. One year they ruined my Christmas. Another time Mendieta turned into peak Zidane. Then Afonso Alves scored his only two goals in England against us on a snowy afternoon. And then a LVG snorefest in the cup where we got eliminated on pens after failing to score in 120 mins.

    They smashed up Possebon too. My dislike of them goes back to the early 70s when they knocked us out of both cups a couple of times. Went up to their crappy ground on a freezing January Saturday in 1971 to get smacked around by the local plod and made to wait inside after the game in foul conditions. Next year it was up there again for a replay that we won 3-0. That pissed the locals off even more. There was a running battle back to the station, the train was late, and we arrived back in Manchester in the pissing rain to find no buses running. Spent the rest of the night on a bench on the platform before the transport police kicked us out.
