The issue was that var gave the ref little option.Until the referees, pundits and media start understanding that decisions should go to honest players we are never going to improve this game.
Rodri goes down and gets a pen. Hojlund stays up better clearly knocked off balance gets nothing. Meanwhile the pundits lament Hojlund not going down.
That is such a fecked way of describing it. They should be encouraging players to stay on their feet by calling it out and by demanding referees give fouls for players when they stay on their feet. Surely that’s the game we want not pathetically falling down like Rodri did.
Pundits need to get on their case for those sort of things just as much as big calls given.

I don’t think Walker is that good on the ball really, Stones has been lauded for his ball playing abilities since he first played for Everton. Concentration lapses was his problem.
