Tbf somehow we kept it tight, not a defensive display to write home about but good enough somehow, and Onana made one hell of save .
Carragher said the sameYeah they're saying pen by the letter of the law but incidents like this happen all the time, they're never given and United should feel hard done by.
Wonder what they're saying on Sky.
Oliver has always had a chip on his tiny shoulder when it comes to us. Bellend couldn’t wait to punish us. Reminds me when he sent ADM off for stroking his arm but allowed Joe Hart to practically nut him.Especially considering who was on VAR, who was also coincidentally the same ref that failed to send Kovacic off, who also refs in the UAE league which is coincidentally owned by the same people that own the club that have benefitted from his decisions.
It’s actual negligence if we don’t ask why he’s even allowed to officiate this game. It’s a massive conflict of interest.Oliver works for City's owners in the UAE. Conflict of interest. No surprise we have been robbed
Really ? Didn’t know that.Especially considering who was on VAR, who was also coincidentally the same ref that failed to send Kovacic off, who also refs in the UAE league which is coincidentally owned by the same people that own the club that have benefitted from his decisions.
Yeah, nobody makes half time subs.Another halftime sub. So much for having a game plan.
the VAR officials for that Diaz "offside goal" at Spurs were in the UAE 48 hours beforeDefinite conflict of interest, in regular jobs people have to declare any other interests, they should have to publish it online for all referees each season, would be interesting reading one thinks...
gary seems to saying he doesn't have one!Maybe to use as a blindfold.
I think he’s a neater passer than our options bar Eriksen. You not think JWP is a one trick pony? Set pieces is all he’s good at
Kudos Carragher for going straight in on the honesty that it happens in every game.
I don't understand Carragher and Richards at half time. How can it be the right decision if every single game has an incident like that that doesn't get punished? So are we saying that the refs are getting it wrong every single game now?
Rodri is free because Stones steps across Maguire and makes no attempt to play the ball, meaning he can't follow Rodri. Is that not a foul? It's a foul in the middle of the pitch in open play.
We're not smart enough to question it.It’s actual negligence if we don’t ask why he’s even allowed to officiate this game. It’s a massive conflict of interest.
Reek of corruptionIt’s actual negligence if we don’t ask why he’s even allowed to officiate this game. It’s a massive conflict of interest.
Fair enough.I think he’s a neater passer than our options bar Eriksen.
I don’t think Walker is that good on the ball really, Stones has been lauded for his ball playing abilities since he first played for Everton. Concentration lapses was his problem.Absolutely do not believe this. You think Walker was so good before Pep really improved him. Or Stones for that matter? You think Brighton’s 11 is better than ours to the point where they would embarrass us in passing abilities?
It’s squarely on Eth and all this noise around him missing his first choice back four as the reason for it is just blind faith at this point.
