Really feel for Rashford and Martial, the only outfield players actually giving 100% all the others don't give a feck. Used to be a time when wearing the shirt meant something to the players especially against pool, not this lot though.

Martial, Rashford and De Gea I can't fault at all for what they gave tonight, all the others should be ashamed cowards the lot of them.
Na, it is all Van Gaal's fault and that is the narrative this place and the press are sticking to. When the prodigal eye poker has the job and the players perform like this, then it'll be completely their fault.

Van Gaal will not be sacked until it is impossible for us to win a trophy, it is what happened to Moyes and it will happen again. Shame we can't do anything before it is too late.

I see we are firmly in a calm, submissive state now. What a fecking joke these players and management is. Can we not just liquidate the footballing side of the business? I mean the brand is there, clearly the shit on-field hasn't affected the business opportunities for the whores over at the marketing department. Results clearly do not matter either. If you can hibernate through the best part of 2 seasons playing shit on a stick football while spending feck loads of money on absolutely shit, what is actually not good enough? Some arbitrary target of CL football, just to get some extra millions in to the coffers. Feck off. What a joke of a club this is.

So because the performance on the pitch is shit and everything off pitch which involves expanding the brand and securing income is better than any other club in the world the people working off pitch are whores?..

Is whores some kind of new teen lingo that's actually a compliment?

Why should we sack him now? The season is over, we won´t win the FA Cup and won´t get Top 4, so let him be in till the end of the season or let Giggs try his luck again. Should have sacken him in Christmas and test Giggs, if he is good enough.

    Post match reaction:
    Carrick: "We need to improve"
Mata: "We will try harder, hugs"
LVG: "Fellaini was the best player on the pitch"

So we all looking forward to Sunday?

Might not be tuning in to be brutally honest, just another waster of two hours that'll put me in a bad mood.

There wasn't even a fighting spirit... For fecks sakes, we were trash in that second half. What's the point in us? What are we trying to achieve?

Oh and yeah, I don't blame you. I'll watch cause I can't stop myself but I know it'll be shit.

According MUTV we showed heart and character. Opinions.

MUTV never like to step on toes and will never say anything negative regarding United.Although we were good in the first half . We showed no heart or character in the second half.

we never needed to get out of 2nd gear over two games.

    Much weaker than I anticipated
I agree. I honestly think your manager got his team wound up for the game. I think ours is beaten before most games have even started and he passes that on to the players.

This is the first time in my life that we have lost to Liverpool and I haven't been going crazy. I guess I was resigned to going out before the game. Our first half attacking performance actually surprised me, because it was half-decent. Second half we reverted to type. Chasing three goals, we make three like for like subs: two full backs and a holding player. Peak Van Gaal that. None of it remotely surprising. I thought we might go down swinging at least, instead we just lay there and waited to die. Sad to see Man Utd reduced to this.

    That doesn't make any sense.

Moyes had a six year contract. Sacking him before CL became mathematically impossible would've been expensive.

LVG on the other hand only has a year left. Surely we lose more by being out of the CL than sacking him and paying severance? I get that we probably won't make the CL either way now, but in December our position was much better.

The first half up until Coutinho's goal was all in United's favor. Livershite with their typical let offs and crap shots, but Rojo should have scored and you expect so much better from Mata after Smalling's looping header onto his left foot, which he snatched at.

Giggs should go as well, he's been a part of the management team that has failed.

I don't get it?Asking for an under performing ,expensive, spineless ,weak, unreliable player gone is spouting billous comments?
    What are you talking about?
Are you confusing me with someone else?
Do you assume that my general comment about the state of this thread was related to you personally, simply because your comment was directly above mine when it landed?

Yeah, stop all billiousness immediately!

Afraid that sums up this side under LvG. He should have lifted them told them to win for the fans, he looks completely defeated.

I agree. Had Liverpool needed 3 in one half, you can guarantee that Klopp would have had them fighting for everything. As it was, we actually looked more likely to score 3 than Utd did to score even one in that 2nd half

You can't blame the players for this, you expect poor season from a poor squad. The main issue is the manager who had the money but not buying players that's good enough for the team and for his own philosophy and tactic. Looking at our bench all we have available are midfield and defenders. Injury isn't the problem for lacking attacker option as we really indeed don't have a lot because the manager sold almost all of them.

No one making runs, no one coming towards the ball to intercept... How the feck are we meant to score a fecking goal?

We're a bunch of stiff ridged ornaments. Absolutely pathetic.

If LVG is in charge come June 1st we can forget about any trophies for the next 10 years as we will fall even further behind.

    We've blown £250m.
    Definitely.

Our next manager will have one hell of a job fixing this squad, there's genuinely about three or four players worthy of a starting spot for Manchester United, the rest are stop gaps and squad players.

Also, is anyone worried about Smalling? He's gone a bit shit recently.
