Matic, Pogba and Eric on for second half, McTommy, Bruno and Harry off. I can seem them getting 10 if we can’t sort this shite out. Bruno playing as a striker, McTommy playing as a box to box and Harry looking like he’s forgotten how to defend. We really need stability and to get Pogba on the ball.

If Ole refuses to change the system then he has to go. 1 clean sheet in 21 games, something is not working and if he can't see it or do anything about it he has to go.

I understand the frustration but the board aren’t sacking him IMO.

Thanks man. Honestly, sticking with Ole might get you an accusation of being a closeted scouser and a ban today *laughing nervously

But seriously, top teams are capable of doing great damage and Liverpool is there at the moment. It was a lot easier for Klopp to awaken that team from one bad season than it is for Ole to build a winning team, not from scratch, but from a lot of un-loadable deadwood that held us back as a club. Lot of high paying unwarranted contracts handed out...

Overall we have improved under him and we need to keep it up. One game won't make a season.

This isn't because of one game.

Ronaldo lashing out is a clear sign of his frustration with the defence and Ole imo.

Just was watching the halftime analysis. They said what will happen before the kick off and exactly what they said happened. We have no idea how to press. A pub team will press better.
Scholes has turned on too. Ole needs to be sacked and sacked now

Maguire and Shaw have totally lost their heads, Maguire in particular.

We should never be 0-4 down really, if we had a even half decent performance from our defenders. Lack of DM on top just kills it against a team like this.

Manager needs to be held accountable though of course.
They've both been shit all season.

We’ve scored less goals, conceded more, won less, lost more and got lower points total than under Jose. Where’s the improvement you’re talking about?

I'm in favour of whatever score is needed to get us a new manager.

I want us to win but that ain't an option now.

Crazy how the only person coming to back Ronaldo so fast was Bruno. Back in the day, every player on the pitch would come to help him even if his hair got touched.

Small details like these show you how much desire and fight the players have in them.
This. Utterly despicable that our players didn't man up.

This is my frustration, when you look at that run, why would you not try to address it at some point? Just keep doing more of the same? Fecking baffling

it’s not just the individual errors...it’s the really poor co-ordination. Everyone in each other spaces. It schoolboy stuff.

Nobody thinks we don't need a CDM? On the Cafe you're reading this reply on now? In this thread where our midfield issues are all about coaching and not playing Donny/Matic?

Having to spend circa £200m is what happens when three of your first choice back 4 need replacing, because you gave a master defensive tactician a blank cheque and he used it to sign Dalot, Lindelof and Bailly and your coaching system has found two bargains total (and that's at a push) this side of Fergie's departure. Bizarrely, teams noticed that we were crap at the back and when we came knocking, raised their prices because a) we're loaded and b) they knew we'd pay, and we end up pay the going rate plus £10-15m. Heck, Pep couldn't even prise Ake from a relegated team for much less than we benefited from Varane's contract situation - on the one occasion we paid (slightly) less than market rate for a decent defender this side of Evra and Vidic.

When the new guy comes in and the Cafe decides that actually we do need 3-4 new starting XI calibre players after all, he'll end up signing them for the exact same bloated prices and I really hope this energy about needing to spend a fortune and bias towards a manager carries on.
Are you for real? Everyone thinks we need to buy a CM and that it's our weakest spot. Some just also think there are midfielders we have at the club better than McFred. Hard to argue with that right now, isn't it?

We're 4-0 down, at home, to Liverpool, At half time, Dobba, and you're trying to use some strawman argument to defend Ole. Get a fecking hold of yourself man. There's no defending the indefensible.

I'm going to watch Mutv after game to here the breaking news that he's been sacked and Carrick In temporary. Until we've found a Manager who can organise a TEAM not individuall players hoping they do it. Have a nice Xmas in Norway you won't be here, sadly your Time has come to an end. 3 subs here not 5 like Europe game cannot be altered as much.

If Ronaldo can't keep his composure he should be subbed. The damage is done, we need him for the next game and can't have him sent off.

As for the people ignoring reality, Liverpool have a better team than we do at the moment. Their last season was a slump but they played some of the best football pre-corona and this team has only matured. We are not there yet but they won't stay at the top forever.

The quick pace football is unforgiving. Yes we are beaten badly but at least under Ole we come out and try to play football. Yes, a bad loss to a bitter rival but lets not asfor heads. Going all out will sometimes get you punished.

I am with Ole. He improved us much more than any pre-Ferguson manager has.
He might have improved us - but I wonder what a better manager would have improved us by?

its pretty clear he is out of his depth.
