Firstly, very few. Which is why we lost that one with a much changed side.
Secondly, it's as much tactically and psychologically damaging, rather than physical, when you've been forced to play 3 games in 5 days, have to juggle the squad, can't spend any time preparing or practising for each opponent as your opponents can for you, etc.
A squad playing 3 games in 5 days is at a massive disadvantage each game, even if they manage to juggle players around on the physical side of it.
