Ole mentioned there's no physical training during this period, rather school type training of sitting and looking at the tactical diagrams and things like that.

I'd hope Cavani, Rashford and Bruno are fine to play tonight with that in mind, but I'd prefer to see one or two rested.

Pogba - Greenwood - Rashford with Bruno in behind is the most likely line up I think. Cavani to come off the bench.

Not sure about the defense. And there may be temptation on Ole's part to play Matic given we've got no protection in the air at the back.

    Predict either of these two

    --------------------Henderson
    AWB-------Bailly--------Lindelof------Shaw
    -------------------Fred-----Matic
    Rashford---------Bruno-----Pogba
    -----------------------Cavani

    -----------------------Henderson
    AWB-------Tuanzebe--------Lindelof------Shaw
    --------------McTominay-----Fred
    Rashford------------Bruno--------------Pogba
    --------------------------Cavani

Bailly in for Axel and the bottom team is perfect for me. Only thing to consider I suppose is Marcus on the left. i think he has the upper hand on TAA and could be decisive for us tonight.

Just dawned on me that we will also have Leicester and half of London rooting for us tonight. Let’s not let them down United

Everton too, heck pretty much every team would love to see them taken down a peg or 2!

Let's book them into the Europa, 2-1 with (pretty please) the winning goal being a harsh pen.

    or resting players.

Under no circumstances should we not be giving the squad some rest against Fulham and Wolves with top 4 locked up and the Europa final in mind. Even more so if we get 3 points tonight, 2nd would be clinched.

Don't need Bruno or Pogba playing 180 minutes against Fulham & Wolves. Maybe play them against Fulham with the fans being back but they shouldn't be in the match longer than 60 minutes.

Feels strange watching a match against Liverpool with absolutely no nerves.

Figured something like this would happen.

    Good for them.

I have to laugh a little at the "We decide when you play" thing because if they stop this game again, the EPL could cancel the game and give Pool the 3 points, effectively saying, "And we decide when you don't."

The Glazers are not selling. But they might listen if things don't get out of hand.

It's bizarre but when the whistle blows nerves will kick in, it's always sickening to lose to them.

One final game where they give it everything and then 2 weeks of rest before the final. Come on, just beat these cnuts.

Please can be beat these lot. I'm sick and tired of the tepid performances we have put up against them especially the last one at Anfield when they were there for the taking. It's our turn to put some more misery on their dreadful season as champions. Let's finish them off once and for all.

    2-0 United.

We literally beat them 3-2 a week later in a great game.

    Absolutely.

The ‘we decide when you play’ brigade is quite puerile in this line of thought if they thought they could successfully disaffect the remaining games.

I am a bit confused as to why there was no concerted protest effort of note on Tuesday. Outside of the kickoff time, I can’t see why a pause would occur.

At the start of the season I bet a friend that we would get more than 70 points in the league. If we lose tonight, I'll start getting nervous, even if losing to Fulham at home would be a decidedly moyesian achievement.

I was being sarcastic after the Leicester game, it doesn’t work after 48 hours. Full strength tonight then rotate in the last two.

McT is as good as Matic in air ,if not better

I hope United will take them on! No pragmatic approach and defending/counter. Maguire is a huge miss but United has the players to take them on. Gone are the days where these matches are one-sided. United did well in the FA Cup against them.

Liverpool need to win their 4 remaining games to finish 4th (imagine the nerves and tension in that situation) while United already have top 4 secured with a few games to spare and only have the stature of this fixture as motivation which is not helped by having no supporters in attendance.

Think Pool will win. They need it more and are due a win at OT. Will happen with no fans in the stadium.

I had hoped for 80 points and City to get less than 90 ever since it seemed we couldn’t realistically win the title. The closer we end up to them the better. So I was hoping for a result against Leicester. That said, I would rather a win today. And think we can beat Wolves and especially Fulham. Hope Everton end the day in 6th

It absolutely won't be a draw, that much is certain.

Either Liverpool cope with the nerves and blast us away with their intensity helped by us being not overly arsed.

Or they shit themselves and we make mince meat of that backline.

They need the win/points much much more than us.

We should be calm and hit them on the break.

That team is likely, but before anyone takes him seriously - the Manchester Gazette, which he claims to write for as a "football journalist", doesn't have a Sports section. The avatar is a red flag too. If anyone starts posting his tweets in the transfer tweets thread this summer, I'll be mad.
What’s the problem with his avatar?
