Really good half, whatever happens in the second half the players deserve a lot of credit today.
James and Rashford are explosive when given a bit of space to work with.
Or he needs to add a few kgs of upper body muscles.Expect Liverpool to be a different side in this 2nd half.
Really pleased with how the boys have played though.
It isnt that unpopular. He has his qualities but also his shortcoming as shown at that moment with Mane (or against Palace)
IMO he’s a great defender. He’s just nowhere near strong enough physically to be consistant in the premier league.

If Liverpool really want to be champions then they have to drop the victim thing and play better. You had a few unlucky decisions go against you, so turn your luck around if you’re good enough.

I don't think it wil help. Mentally he's not a tough CBWell, call me satisfied with that half. We've looked dangerous (although still lacking genuine goal threat imo) and kept Liverpools attacking threat down to a minimum. A few scares but done well on the whole.
Rashford has played really well so far, Pereira despite his lack of quality is causing Liverpool problems and James has done well when he's got hold of the ball (need to get it to him more often though).Var got it right for me simply because of that shocking dive. Origi going down like hes mo salah

I was expecting to get steamrolled in midfield (especially with who we have in that midfield) but we have held our own and restricted Liverpool for the most part.

Credit where credit is due, Ole deserves the most credit, tactics been spot on, very similar to Tottenham last year. Rashford and James running in the space with Periera sat between them. Periera has been solid today, very impressed all round the park, even Rojo haha.McTominay has been our best player followed closely by Wan-Bissaka imho. Both very incisive.We do need an upgrade on Lindeloff.
