A draw would be a real nightmare... United win would be miraculous so I couldn't be unhappy and Liverpool win would be great financially.

How loaded are you, that you're casually putting £2k on a football game?

Or do you genuinely think it's like printing free money?

Last season an "insider" on my other club's forum was adamant our manager was off to QPR... a few people lobbed on.

    He didn't go there!

Another stat going into the game:

Last 17 PL games, Liverpool: 17 wins.
Last 17 PL games, United: 17 points.

    Spot the feckin difference.

Having read the quotes on Wan Bissaka and Martial and talking about "Maybe" half a game or 30mins...I am certainly not overly encouraged!

Shaw not even mentioned, so presumably he's out for so long it's not even worth name checking.

For me it's about mitigating the impact a United result has on my life. If United get stuffed by Liverpool and I'd bet nothing I'll be miserable for weeks; it has an unhealthy affect on my lift. If I win £1500 and United get stuffed I'll be disappointed United lost but happy with the financial benefit.

Even now when I think of City winning the league in 2012 for example I think of the brand new set of golf clubs it bought me.

Always hedge! It’s probably going to be a draw

But, then... Would you be happy with a United win or would you feel miserable having lost 2K?

Just throwing a casual £2k on like it's nothing

Ah well, it's your money. Fair play.:)

How you gonna react if we grab a last minute equalizer?

    Conflicted.
But, then... Would you be happy with a United win or would you feel miserable having lost 2K?

I'd be happy with the win. I wouldn't bet an amount that made me hope for a loss.
Or worse, if they grab a last minute equalizer?

    Very conflicted!

Always hedge! It’s probably going to be a draw

To hedge with the odds so far in favour of the scousers winning would make the winnings if they do win pretty irrelevant unfortunately

*reading that back I'm unsure what the word win means anymore

So sounds like we're going to park the bus and try to counter. Except we can't score and Ole is nonchalant about losing yet another match. How is this better than when Jose was here? We won that home game 2-1 and rather comfortably, mind.

We will win this. Nothing motivates these boys than proving Jose Mourinho is s**t. He will be at Old Trafford that day as match day pundit.

The last time that happened, we whipped Chelsea 4 nil or something.

Can someone tell our players then that there are these things called TV sets and that Mourinho watches all our matches since he has no real job anyway.

I won over 200 quid last season from just 20 quid bet.

I bet on liverpool to go through against Barcelona after the first leg defeat.

I also bet on them to win the CL when they were at risk of going out in the group stages.

It was a bit of comfort I must admit. I'd never go near 2k though.

Probably the biggest gap between the two teams in my lifetime, in terms of us being the shit team and them the good one.

We are going to get the shite beat out of us on Sunday, literally, don't think I have ever gone into a game with that shower and be less confident in my life

I think even If Van Dijk got sent off early and Mane, Salah and Firmino both pulled up with injuries I still don't think we could beat them not because they are fantastic or anything but it's how shit we are

I reckon 3-0 Liverpool and hope to feck Ole is gone within an hour of that

I don't like it, most people won't like it, but i can see Solskjaer pulling a Conte here. Remember the game in his second season where they played City and it looked like all Conte wanted was a loss by as little as goals as possible. No one bats an eye if United lost, but a heavy scoreline could have serious repercussions for him. So tactics will be sitting deep, hitting it long and run as much as possible.

    2:0 Scouse, i'd guess.

    No real job?

How much payoff did he get from us and what does he earn again as a pundit? I will sure like to be that jobless.

I'm clinging to the memory of when Liverpool were winning regular titles, and we always put in a good performance.

We also beat City a couple of years ago when our results had been poor.

But I'm only clinging with one hand... :nervous:

First time I’ve not looked forward to a United Liverpool game. All social media is getting deleted after this.

Surely the Scousers’ superfluke run of the cosmos blessing every part of their football team for the last 18 months or so has to run out at some point. I am pleading to the Starchild that this moment will be on Sunday, whereupon we will see a Van Dijk own goal, Mane deciding to become a Trappist Monk and Klopp’s teeth all falling out after Salah being sent off for diving.

    1-0 United.

We could sneakerd in a sucker punch 1-0, always believe derby is where anything could happen.

But not this time, not this set of gutless squad, not this set of inept squad. Forget brilliance, we dont even have passion when relegation newcastle played a ring on our head

Only way we win. A flukey 1-0.

Don't worry lads.. The Ole tactical masterclass is waiting for us. We will tonk them 3-0 and this game will cement Ole's position at united forever.

    Tactics and ole

    I like these stats.

They make pulling off a result that much sweeter.
I would enjoy a win too, but I am not going to be fooled by another PSG. That game, in hindsight, showed us how far we are from a technical style of football. Unless we play them off the park, a win over Liverpool will show us nothing - the trend is clear: this club has no style of play, and the manager and coaches are out of their depth.

If I were in Manchester, I would be shouting myself hoarse in the streets and the stadium of how things have to change.
