I think he'll be in CM, and he's a striker. My prediction is expect to see A LOT of those cross field passes from him.

    Hopefully I'm wrong.

I'm not bothered about Falcao/Wilson, I wanna see Rooney and RvP up top with Herrera in the middle.

Louis van Gaal loves switching play so those cross field passes are right down his street.

Slowly but surely, these match threads are turning into something you'd see from the official forum. Moaning and complaining, all doom and gloom.

Where's the optimism, lads? We're on a 5 match winning streak, against a shitty 'Pool, with a world class manager! Come on lads!

Come on boys lets smash them! Got a feeling that it's going to be a close game though but as long as Wayne and Robin play well, we will win.

How much does anyone want to bet that Falcao will get thrown on and expected to perform miracles, but at this point later in the game everyone is tired and off the pace. Meaning nothing will come off for him again and everyone will continue with the Falcao is finished talk?.

The guy is fit and still doesnt get games. No offence to Wilson but he will never reach the level Falcao had at his best. Is like expecting Welbeck to become Ronaldo.

Why we arent trying to get Falcao back to that level by playing him and getting him sharp is beyond me. Imagine what the Athletico Madrid Falcao would do in this league against all these overrated CB pairings? Lol he would make Aguero look like Heskey

Liverpool are certainly looking to dominate possession, we'll be using the pace of Wilson on the break. Will probably look vaguely similar to the Arsenal/Saints games.

Definitely. Hopefully with the same outcome as both those games!

I'm not confident with this one now though.

IMO The key to this game is ( Evans and Jones ) if both play like real fighters and feck off their no brain issues then we can win this.confidence start from the back line.

Strange people on here, acting smug laughing at others for offering an opinion on the lineup. Its one of the central discussions fans enjoy.

Ffs if we can't discuss choice of a youngster vs world class striker we might as well all log off

Just had coupleof pints... Now am ready for any kinda result. GGMU..
    Comeon UTD...

Rooney has stopped playing this crossfield balls after the city game. LvG has clearly talked to him about it.

    comedy.

    Wilson = Welbeck.

Ronaldo = Some God when he was only 19.

This fool wants us to use this all important game to get Falcao some match fitness as opposed to starting Wilson for a much needed quality in his pace.

I think Rodgers has probably made a good call picking Lallana, Sterling and Coutinho. Lets be honest, there's not much point in starting Lambert and Balotelli right now is there?
I'm not entirely convinced by our lineup. Wouldn't have picked RVP and Wilson up front, I hope they don't become too isolated up front. Lacking a bit of pace and skill in midfield with Fellaini and Carrick. 5Live just said that Rooney and Fellaini would be in midfield with Carrick playing at centre-back, so who knows?
Hopefully we will get some momentum early in the game and shake-up their centre-backs.
