Reporter: "Do you feel you're injury prone?"
    Sturridge: "No"

To be fair it wouldn't exactly help his hand in future contract negotiations.

    "I deserve £150,000 a week"

"But you're injury prone you said it yourself"

If @Treble_Winning isnt on a WUM then I'd imagine him looking like the Utd version of Ty from Arse TV.

    Who the hell is Ty?

Arsenal fans cannot possibly want their team to thrash their rivals because they're just not good enough to do so. In fact, Arsenal is usually the one on the receiving end of thrashings from direct rivals.

Liverpool are incapable of parking the bus. They just can't do it. Their defence is porous, and Klopp's tactics are bound to leave gaping holes for us to exploit. There isn't any way Klopp can set his team up to get a clean sheet against Zlatan, Mata, Martial, Mhkitaryan, Rooney, and Pogba. It just won't happen. Gung ho attacking is all he knows and it is all he does.

We need to be focused and make sure we don't gift them an early goal like we did against Chelsea. We must CONCENTRATE and we must fight for every ball and we must not concede possession needlessly in dangerous areas. FOCUS is what's needed. And also every single UTD player needs to play like a man possessed. We go at them like demons. Like bats out of hell. While also retaining focus and concentration. We need to probe and shoot and test their keeper again and again. That is how we will bludgeon them into submission.
Did you not see their match against City the other week? That was far from gung ho. They're capable of playing a more cautious game if they want, to think otherwise is strange.

I know some are slating you right now but I bet the players would rather see your posts than some of the bleak ones.

Your optimism is very contagious on this fine Sunday afternoon.

    Agreed 100%.

Anybody reading some of the comments in here, would think that we are the underdogs, facing Barcelona in the Nou Camp, after being thrashed 5-0 in the first leg.
I believe the reason for this is the last 3 years of negativity. So many disappointments have occurred that many in here don't want to believe that we actually have a great team.
The fact is that we are the form team at the moment and the game is being held in our stadium, where we have a good record.
I am not saying that this is a guaranteed win, but the odds are certainly in our favour.

Can you imagine if the match going fans had this negative attitude?
Jose made a statement earlier in the week that we need to support the team. All I am reading in here is doom and gloom.
If our player read these comments, they'd be crapping themselves.

It's a cnut question tbf. He can't really come out well no matter what he says.

"I've had injuries in the past but I'm fully fit and ready to give everything for this club. Obviously after leaving Chelsea and coming to this dump I do struggle to get out of bed in the morning but I do my best".

I think the Liverpool fans would have appreciated his honesty if he said that.

I don't like it when you guys are all over confident, I can't remember the last time it didn't end in disaster. I fancy our chances here, but you guys are making me nervous, can we get some more doom mongers in here to even it out?
Yeah, same here. I want more pessimism, all this "we'll feck them up, let's score five or six" feels like a bad omen somehow.

This thread need some negativity. Come on people, we can do better than this.

To be fair, it is a nice touch for Arsenal TV to allow robust and heated debate amongst their fans. Different points of view and all that. I wish MUTV would do something similar instead of just trotting out the party line all the time.

It's a YouTube fan channel, not the official club broadcast.

It's a fan station (like FullTimeDEVILS) not the club official broadcast.

There is no "Arsenal TV" which is run by the club (in the same way MUTV is). That video you quoted is run by fans on youtube. I'm sure Man United fans have something similar.

Don't change your attitude @Treble_Winning, the positivity is welcome.

I think most people are just confused by some overly brash ideas about "trashing" them, it would be nice but Liverpool are a very good team who can beat anyone in the league.

I am fecking serious that we need to go all out to run up the score. This is our only opportunity to lay down a marker and send their season into tailspin with a monumental and historical ass-whooping (like the Arsenal 8-2). It is one for the ages. We only get ONE shot. If we let them leave with their dignity intact they can just brush off a narrow defeat as just "an off day" and possibly regroup. We must prevent that from happening. We need shock and awe. We need a blitzkrieg. We have to score goal after goal and make it CLEAR that Liverpool are NOT a suitable team to be contenders for the title. We do that, and they could well drop out of the top four entirely.

This is our ONLY shot to derail their season and send it into meltdown. I hope we take it.

Love the passion & totally agree with the thinking.

However, our goals scored column in the table tells it's own story.

    I'm going for a 2-1 win.

Hope they don't score first though, hate having a major sweat on when that happens. Nice when we run out winners in that situation though :)

Thank you. I respectfully disagree with your views though. Thrashing Liverpool isn't far fetched at all. And I assure you, if they can't beat Plymouth and Sunderland and Southampton, they sure as hell won't be beating us.

In fact the 1-0 score line against Southampton flattered them. They should have lost by more.

    Lets hope you're right :D

Everton vs City about to kick off. Schneiderlin on the bench. Let's hope that Lukaku has his shooting boots on. And another red card and lengthy ban for the thug Agüero.

Did you guys even see how toothless and jaded Liverpool were against the Saints? That was only a few days ago. I wouldn't worry about them beating us. As I've said, my only worry is that Jose will settle for a 1-0 or 2-0 win. We should be looking to send out a strong and emphatic message.

Aguero is more of a sneaky cnut than a thug. Wouldn't bank on him winning a fist fight even against Mata.

Put nearly all my online funds on a United - Real double win. The odds were actually not that good, it's just that I really couldn't help myself. Put the rest on a City draw, because there's nothing wrong with some wishful thinking once in a while.

I'm pretty sure Mata won't start but I'm wondering if Jose will give Martial a chance. I think it will be either Lingard or Rooney on the left though and Mikhi on the right.

I'm going with the lineup I hope we'll see not that I expect it. With Martial, Mickhi and Ibra up front.

Excellent. That makes two of us. I have $2,000 on a UTD outright victory and $200 on a UTD victory of more than three goals. We are both going to make some serious money tonight, my friend.

We are not going to lose this game. I assure you, that is not going to happen.
Look its football and although they looked crap recently they're still a good team and really dangerous. They'll be pumped up for this just as we'll be.
