Dreading games now. Just don't get excited.
Hope we see the below.

If it weren't for the fact we might see Dorgu / Heaven / hopefully another new signing it would be a bleak prospect.
Maybe I’m weird but I don’t dread games and I always get a excited to watch United play, ok these days I’m more fecked off at the end of a game than I am happy but it’sad football, it’s United and I love both so watcha gonna do?
I don't think there's a right or wrong aapproach to it to be honest. Neither make you any less of a fan, it's just how ten years of mostly depressing failure effects people differently.
I'm more like Hughes35. I dread most games now - especially knockout cup games where, if we lose, then we're out of the competition - because ten years plus of chronic underachieving means I find it hard to go into games with much confidence that the players will perform well and win.
Those ten years have also coincided with our two biggest rivals winning plenty of trophies and plaudits, while we become increasingly mocked, so I also find I watch less and less of games involving other teams. I still watch all of ours - including the U18's and, the rare occasions they're shown, the U21's, but tend to stick to that nowadays rather than watching games from all major leagues like I used to enjoy doing.
As regards the line up, I hope we go very strong and don't go unnecessarily weakened for absolutely no reason other than some managers just almost automatically do that in early rounds of domestic cups.
It'll be interesting if Dorgu starts. With him only recently joining, I can see his first appearance being as a sub. If we had fresh WB issues we might have to throw him in straight away, but with having options I wouldn't be surprised if he's eased in as a sub.
I don't want us to go with Collyer and Ugarte as a partnership at home to Leicester. I think we can go with more of a creator in there. And I'd probably start Hojlund as, with no attacking addition, then we really need to start trying to get him and Zirkzee find some form and confidence - and keeping them on the bench for too long won't do that. Like it or not, we've made the choice to stick with what we have up front for the rest of the season - so now we have to try to play them into some sort of form.
