Some lad on our bench called Fellanini (according to the sky line up). Must be a new buy.

Ah crap. Everyone seems to like the line-up. This doesn't bode well. Thinking of changing my prediction to a 2-1 loss now.

Despite all the negativity and keyboard wars it's just so exciting going into a new season.:D

Perfect lineup except if it were Sanchez on the right and Martial on the left. Maybe we could try that in the 2nd half.

    3-0 !

Fred, Pereira, Pogba midfield. wasn't expecting to see it this early. But we shouldn't be surprised. Pogba was thrown in vs Southampton 2 years ago off the back of the Euros with little training period after his holiday.

Amartey starts for Leicester, therefore it's a guaranteed win for United.

    Wasn’t feeling it up to 5 o’clock

I’m excited now. Can’t bloody wait.

Very surprised at Pogba in the starting line-up and captain as well! A pretty good team tbf, though I also didn't expect the abandonment of the back 3 right now. Feeling more positive now and excited to this start!

I woke up from a nap miserable about this game then I see Pogba starting and captain as well, suddenly a bad day made me a little happy.

Lack of backing for Mourinho in the transfer market

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have been discussing the summer transfer window with both in agreement that the board should have backed Mourinho in the market.

"You can't three-quarters build a house and then stop" - Gary Neville

In short they've said we have backed him the past two summers and should have done this one too so Mourinho could complete his vision for the club and have no excuses.
That midfield three is what wet dreams are made out of

Apart from Darmian that is a solid line up. Enough quality to easily finish in the top 4 and present a earlier challenge for the top 2 spots. Common United!

They just had him at £67m in the side panel
knowing Sky they have probably added the (inflated) add ons, VAT, signing on fee, plane ticket, wage over 5 years, agent fees, the agent agent's fees, the Manchester United tax, the money used for the petrol for the car to bring Fred to Manchester, images rights

    :lol::lol:
Hilarious how our prices are always inflated by 10, 20% and rival teams are always quoted as cheaper. Wasn't his buy-out clause 47m? Wouldn't be surprised if the real price was a bit less than that but obviously the maximum fee is 47m.

Our prices include wages, signing on fee's, bonuses and are quoted in $$ then converted to GBP.

I fecking hope Sanchez is down the middle and Rashford is out wide. Not because Sanchez is an amazing striker, but more because he has the footballing skills of a 5-year-old playground player playing in a wide role.

Will the stadium be full or will there be empty seats cause it's summer?

Sat in the bar of an all inclusive hotel in Rhodes.

Great hotel but no fecking channel showing the match!

That means Caf updates and headphones/radio. Wife and family thrilled with me.

I mean, I don't think anyone is going to feel too sorry for you here mate.

    Enjoy Rhodes, lovely place.

    What are they saying?

Centre halves aren't good enough. Regardless of whether the manager is mourinho or someone else the board should have accepted that and bought in the summer. But they didn't so that's on them.

Neville also said that they've gone some way towards "building a house" with mourinho. They can't just stop midway through and retreat. They also can't complain about philosophy because SAFs philosophy went 5 years ago. They might as well back a seriel winner and see how it goes.

Charrager also had very good input although I forgot the specifics.

On a side note I am really pleased to see Charrager back. Couldn't give a feck about the spit incident. Moment of madness and if he's genuinely sorry then fair fecks. Great pundit and he belongs on air.

Edit: remembered charrager mentioned Jose has to clean up bad signings from LVG and 2 yrs isn't a long time to fix it. Board has to wise up.
