I don't get itHehe.

I think that should apply to most on the team not just Martial and Rashford. So does Rashford have to play magnificent or he is benched next game?
Martial gets two assists in one game and gets dropped. Right, makes sense.
Martial won't be playing Sunday, Jose gave him his chance against Wigan and didn't do enough to impress it seems. We'll probably see him start again against Blackburn. If Martial plays on Sunday this makes sense. Why play 3 games in 7 days? Probably means Rashford and Miki won't play v Leicester.
Jose said as much to be fair.
No complaints. That's our strongest possible XI in my opinion.
Too bad I forgot to put my lineup prediction. Thats exactly the team I would put.
Herrera is hardly a holding midfielder2 holding midfielder vs the mighty Hull and no Shaw or Martial
Mourinho is not good enough

yes I did mean him , I had Rashford on the bench and Martial starting. He is starting
Or did you mean Martial
I agree Martial will start against Leicester, unless Rashford plays in such a way that he's undroppable, i.e., magnificent.Martial won't be playing Sunday, Jose gave him his chance against Wigan and didn't do enough to impress it seems. We'll probably see him start again against Blackburn.
He's just got back from ACON duty had him as a sub today so sad he's not made the bench. Is Bailly injured? I would have thought Jose would have been keen to start easing him back in bearing in mind how good he looked pre-injury.
Herrera is hardly a holding midfielder
I'd argue the midfield was where we lost the game against them last week, I think it makes sense to have 3 there.I would have preferred 4-2-3-1 with Mata as the 10. I don't think three central midfielders is necessary at home against Hull City. Rashford is much better as a substitute.
Last time Martial started an away game was at the start of December. Will likely be Rashford and Mkhi again. Maybe Mata coming back into the team.I agree Martial will start against Leicester, unless Rashford plays in such a way that he's undroppable, i.e., magnificent.
Don't mind me. Just found your comment about top 20 amusing. I gave up a long time ago.I don't get it
Catch a grip ffs
Agree on Martial but Shaw looks miles away from the player he was at the start of last season and we haven't got any easy fixtures to use hope that he gets back to that level. Blind is far better than Darmian.Thought it would've been a great chance to give Martial some momentum, same with Shaw. They are unquestionably our strongest options for the left side, it's not even close, though I understand the reasons I guess. Hopefully they both start v Leicester though.
Was also hoping for Mata to start, no point in Carrick today I think, but oh well.
Yeah, can't see Martial starting against Leicester either. I'd even say Lingard would probably start over him for that game, too.Last time Martial started an away game was at the start of December. Will likely be Rashford and Mkhi again. Maybe Mata coming back into the team.

Played 90 minutes in first game returning from injury a few days ago. Mourinho will take the patient approach with him. Next start will probably be in the cup again.Where's Shaw?
we would just bring in mata and switch formationWe're stuck if anything happens to any of the midfielders
You spout this kind of nonsense every single matchday thread.2 holding midfielder vs the mighty Hull and no Shaw or Martial
Mourinho is not good enough
But he's not a holding midfielder and Mourinho doesn't use him as one. That's where his best work happens. Shooting inconsistent and not very good going forward in general.
Ok that makes sense.Played 90 minutes in first game returning from injury a few days ago. Mourinho will take the patient approach with him. Next start will probably be in the cup again.
