Unfortunate that Martial is missing out due to illness, was looking forward to seeing him play tonight. Anyways the team we put out should be good enough and hopefully play good football.

I'm sick and tired of our games not being shown on tv consistently.....were Man United ffs why do we have to share broadcast with the like of liverpool? Why should I have to go on reddit to watch the game? We should start a Class action lawsuit against nbc for not showing our games now that mourinho is gone.
Especially when you at the moment have games on Sky one. You telling me not BT, Sky sports could have a consistent Man Utd matches since they probabaly gather the most views.

Huddersfield aren't that good so any lineup we put should be enough to win at least 2 or 3-0.

Gomes on the bench. I hope we're winning comfortably with 60mins gone.
Would have liked Sanchez or Greenwood on the bench

Isn't Sanchez out for the entire festive period with a hamstring injury, or am I imagining that?

Martial is so fecking unlucky. So are we really, we can never have our best players playing consistently and build on confidence.

Damn can't wait for this game to start. It's only Huddersfield but the prospect of us just going for it and hopefully scoring another hatful of goals playing free flowing attacking football is

My only worry today is a slight lack of width, so Dalot and Shaw will be massively important. They need to spend the whole game in Huddersfield's half and we can play with more of a back three with Matic sitting.

Our games are always on tv. My father was saying to me last night how sick of it he is too!
Its started happening a lot more this season. Its crazy! how the hell will they show city's games over ours? I live in atlanta so luckily we have the main United Hub here in america. Still I have to drive 25 minutes just because.

Find the Martial stuff a bit fishy, but I'm quite the suspicious fella. Hopefully he's involved at the weekend.

Could be anything really. As long as he starts the weekend and we play well/win, i dont care too much.

Going to be interesting to see how Mata is used and hopefully Gomes gets some minutes from the bench. Bit strange Matic isn't rotated but I suppose that's nitpicking.

Decent looking side. I don’t see us winning heavily today, but I’ll be happy with a comfortable win and some signs that the training has changed. I thought we looked a bit ragged when we were closing Cardiff down last time which left us a bit open at the back. It’d be nice to see some development on that front in the next 3 games before we play Spurs.

It was my worry with the front three until I thought "Wait, this is OGS, the fullbacks aren't there to defend"

3 weeks ago we’d be saying that’s the least compelling front 3 we could put out there. Still not very exciting, but I suspect they’ll play well and put some in.

    Saved you a click

MEN are with their usual clickbait ways, requiring you to click a link rather than just posting what someone has said. Here is what Ole has said regarding Martial's absence:

"He must have had a bad chef over Christmas. If it’s food poisoning or something. I don’t know, but he has fallen ill over Christmas."

Huddersfield have been utter shit, but fully expect them to put in a gargantuan effort like they did last season.
Billings had to be subbed, he fouled that much.
Glad McTominay isn’t featuring but Gomes on the bench
