    Would probably put Martial or Rashford for one of Lingard/Mata and put Sanchez in behind Lukaku (since Lukaku won't ever come off), so we can get some actual width out on the left. Probably Pogba on after an hour or right at half. But definitely need more width.

    Not bad. Just the usual, once we get anywhere near their penalty box we run out of ideas or something. No one wants to score yet.
    Sanchez had a good shot saved. Lingard could have made more of his chance in my opinion but still a good save by their keeper.
    Huddersfield are cheats. We should have got a pen.
    Huddersfield are also parking their bus quite effectively.

    Conclusion: we're praying for a goal from somewhere
     
    I don't know how the Ref didn't give a penalty for that McTominay challenge, he didn't have eyes for the ball. It was an awful challenge, and dangerous too.

    Agreed. Valencia especially. The guy has the freedom of the whole right hand side and does feck all. I wouldn't mind if we bought a new right back AND left back in the summer.

    I am loath to talk about corruption. But, I repeat, what about the other officials, even if the ref was somehow not paying attention? I agree with you with it being one of the worst, really blatant.
     
    I don't get why McTominay is being slated. The kid has played very well. I thought a big part of United is giving academy players opportunities like Scot is getting today.

    The refs are incompetent because they are not held accountable. There needs to be a public scoring system on the refs. There needs to be VAR. Refs need to be watched in game and when they are making too many mistakes they should get swapped with the 4th official.

    I think replacing aging Valencia is more urgent. I still have trust for Shaw.

    He's done ok. He started very nervously but grew into the game as the half went on. He's not ready to be starting games yet though.
     
    Mata's heatmap is baffling, the guy's playing on the left.
