Why is Maguire starting over De Ligt?So INEOS didn't fix the lineup announcement issue. Amateurs.

De Ligt has not had a pre-season.Bench is a bit of an improvement from last year. It'll only get stronger in a months time. So, so refreshing to see.Had a feeling Maguire would start, as De Ligt had very little involvement in pre season.

I was hoping Garnacho would start over Marcus and that we'd have a forward up top, but it became obvious Zirkzee wouldn't after ten Hag's comments.

I reckon it'll be Dalot, as you'd imagine ten Hag will want to play his new signing in his preferred position. In addition to that, Dalot has had plenty of game time as a left back.Rashford starts... sigh...Zirkzee Garnacho and De Ligt coming on from the bench is something to really look forward to..
De Ligt played no pre season game and hasnt been in training very long. Mazraoui longer and we need him more with Shaw not being fit.. Garnacho easing into the season after a long Copa and Zirkzee hopefully getting fitter and fitter..
