Feyenoord Rotterdam - nicknamed De club aan de Maas (The Club on the Meuse) and De Trots van Zuid (The Pride of the South) - is a Dutch professional football club based in Rotterdam, playing in the Eredivisie. The club was founded as Wilhelmina in the pub De Vereeniging on 19 July 1908. Between 1908, 1910, 1911 and 1912, the club underwent a series of changes of name and team colors, becoming Hillesluise Football Club in 1909 and then RVV Celeritas. Upon earning promotion to the National football association in 1912, the club renamed to become SC Feijenoord, before changing that to SC Feyenoord in 1974, and Feyenoord Rotterdam in 1978, when SC Feyenoord became a separate amateur team.

One of the most successful clubs in the Netherlands with Ajax and PSV, Feyenoord's most successful period in history was the 1960s and '70s when Coen Mouljin, Willem Van Hanegem and Ove Kidvall led the club to six league titles, two European trophies, an Intercontinental cup and thereby becoming the first Dutch club to win the European Cup and the Intercontinental Cup - mostly notably under the stewardship of Ernst Happel. Feyenoord has a longstanding rivalry with Amsterdam based club Ajax, as a clash between the two biggest cities in The Netherlands, which is called De Klassieker (The Classic); and they have played their home games at Stadion Feyenoord (De Kuip) since 1937.

It's our only hope of CL next year so we should go all out. I don't think we're good enough to win it or even get very far, but we should try our hardest to win despite all the silly claims it's a "Mickey Mouse cup".

    Darmian Jones Rojo Shaw

We need to win this one.

    Team should be...

    --------------De Gea--------------
    Valencia--Jones--Rojo--Darmian
    -------Herrera------Pogba-------
    Lingard-------Mata-------Martial
    --------------Zlatan--------------

Subs: Romero, Blind, Schneiderlin, Young, Memphis, Rooney, Rashford

    Must win game

    Depay?
We need to score goals. Depay is not guy you want in your team if you need goals.

Hope we rest some of the players and the likes of Depay are given a chance

    Predicted team ls:

    De Gea

    Fellaini Pogba
    Lingard Mata Martial
    Rooney
Should be enough to get the win, and could be a crucial game for our season.

Let's win the bugger. Keep our performance level high and start to breed some confidence with our results.

I hope we get to see Mikh play. Really hoping Zlatan scores in this. Just want to see some good goals scores, by us.

Also, at the two watches

Crazy fella. One set to Buenos Aires time, the other on his beloved Napoli I'll be bound.

Let's play the way we did against Arsenal, you know, because that was a resounding success and we were great to watch...

All this "Best chance" of top 4 business is surprising.

We're struggling to even make it out of the group, yet people think we can then go another 5 rounds afterwards?
As opposed to getting a bit of consistency in the league and hauling 1 of 4 teams ahead of us back, from November?
Who knows where we'll be if we actually start putting some goals in.

Predicted Score: Man Utd 2-0 Feyenoord (Ibrahimovic, Martial)

Feyenoord won 3-0 today. Albeit at home against PEC Zwolle (who?). We're full of confidence and are out for blood.

    United will win 5-0

Out of curiosity, is there a negative record we could possibly break if we lose on Thursday?
In our last game, it was the first time since the 90s, when we drew 3 home league games in a row.
I think in the next 7 days we shall see another negative record - either against Feyenoord or our next league game.

I genuinely feel it would be best for us to lose and get out of the EL asap. Our league form is really suffering.
CFC and LFC have no EL football and as a result are doing well.

Was this sarcastic? Because I dont get the sarcasm. We did play amazing against Arsenal and I hope we play like that the entire season
