Not if he isn't fit he won't be. It's the fact they say he is fit, then why not give him a runout in the reserves to get up to match speed. It's the reluctance of the club to do this with players coming back from injury.

Suspected earlier that United supporters wouldn’t be pleased about his omission. The suggestion before the match was he wouldn’t be in the squad, too. Difficult to determine when he’ll next start. He won’t at Chelsea and he probably won’t against City. Maybe Burnley on Saturday week?

Good team. Shame that there's no Mkhi yet.

Also a shame that Depay is not getting minutes but Martial needs game time to recover his form. Pogba is an interesting selection. Mourinho trying to build his confidence and take some pressure off him by including him in a game that we should hopefully win comfortably.
