    It wasn't, because he is one of the most wasteful bags of talent we have had, so much skill but absolutely awful decision making

    Nah anyone who wants the best for United and knows anything about football in general would see Rooney isn't good for the side. Saying that, he played reasonably well tonight.

    Rooney played quite well, but should be for the cups rather than league as first choice.
     
    Great to get a victory and to score a few goals. Pogba looks a different player when he's pushed up the field. I know fenerbache weren't great but carrick showed what you can do when you don't treat midfield as a one dimensional enforcer role, great to see a bit of variety in passing coming from that part of the pitch! Pity he won't play on Sunday...but please no pogba in the two man mf
