They aren't amateurs. Gave Bayern a good game.

Of course they are not amateurs. They are better than some of the "weaker" teams in the PL. They have players with experience:

    Claesson: 62 caps for Sweden
Goncalves: 13 u21 caps for Portugal
    Elyounoussi: 52 caps for Norway
    Cornelius: 32 caps for Denmark
    Larsson: 7 caps for Sweden
    Ankersen: 25 caps for Denmark
    Lerager: 10 caps for Denmark

Not the "biggest" national teams, but still good teams and a lot of experience. And they have good, young talents and players with caps for minor countries.

For all the people saying qualification isn't possible, 2 wins on the trot now and we'll most probably be second 2 points above Galatasaray, (Providing Bayern beat them twice).

I think we'll win but it'll be tight. Rashford is due a big night, he'll get 2 or 3 here

15 clubs have managed to get out of their groups after losing their first two games.

Dynamo Kyiv 1999-00 season first team to do so
    Atalanta
    Sporting Lisbon
Porto (Last season and went on to top their group)
    RB Leipzig
    Leverkusen
    Newcastle
    Werder Bremen
    Inter
    Lyon
Panathinaikos (became the first team to top their group after 2 early losses in 2008)
    Marseille
    Galatasaray

Arsenal (following shock defeats to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos in the opening rounds)

Tottenham ( the side that reached the final) They failed to win any of their first three games, two wins in group followed with a draw with all late goals, Poch was one lucky chap that season and such luck was all used up by the final.

Not going to Old Trafford tomorrow so we'll almost certianly win. (Only win I've been present at is the Wolves game - been at all the losses)

I am going to the City game though.... sorry in advance.
    Oh no! Don’t go.

Fully expect us to concede first and make really hard work of getting the victory if we win.

Fully expect Onana to hear the CL anthem and paint his shorts brown and stinky as a result.

Bit of a dodgy decision but I’d leave Varane on the bench and play Maguire and Evans. Surely them 2 have enough against these. I just have a feeling if Varane plays he will get injured and miss the derby and then we’ll have no choice but to play Maguire and Evans vs city.

A must win here and hopefully Bayern beat Gala. If Bayern beat them twice and we beat these twice then we’re 2nd. We just need to beat Gala at their place but that will be tough. What we don’t want is Gala to beat Bayern. That makes it very difficult for us.

Anything less than a win tonight puts hellish pressure on ETH for City match

Mad stat, that. How many others have lost their first three and still made it through?

Really looking forward to this match, excited to see us build on our 2 consecutive wins.

    Prediction
    United 0 - 1 Copenhagen

Not sure where I heard it, but a possibility that ETH will go with two up front: Rasmus and Martial (I don't know who the second forward will be!!!)

I was watching the Beckham doc. When Cole , Yorke , Teddy and Ole part came on I actually thought to myself " man I loved when we played two upfront. And we had four to pick from " Not sure it would work with what we have . It would be so good to have the choices we had back then. To be as exciting as we were then .I probably have Rose tinted glasses on ,but that time was magic .

Might be because there was a quote where ten Hag said both Martial and Rasmus could play together. Doubt it'd happen, though

    Onana
    Dalot Varane Maguire Regulion
    Amrabat
    Bruno Erikson Mount
    Højlund Martial
I really think Martials hold up play would be a benefit to us

We need some speed in our game. They'll sit back and hit us on the counters, so please just commit a stupid freekick or two. (Amrabat red card coming up)

Not a team to be underestimating. I could see it ending in a draw to be honest. We simply don't play with enough urgency.

That makes it impossible for us !

Is it too much to ask to see some decent passages of play?

We need to see ETH coach his team to play that way, consistently, then we may be on to something.

ETH team selection will be interesting. I would like to see Ericksen as the player behind the front three, give him a license to roam, and get on the ball. And shoot, he's excellent striker of the ball, accurate, careful. I don't want him defending, no point, he hasn't the game for that. Denmark never have him defending duties, even a few years ago when he was more devastating as a ball-player. Tuchel at Brentford told him to just go and play.

He's our best footballer imo, but we need him playing in roles which bring the best out of him (circa the whole squad really..)

Will be 2 AM here and probably another shitshow. But it's quite unlikely we'd have any CL football next season. I'm torn between watching this game or not.
