I just don't understand the set up, massive gap between midfield and CB's and the forwards, and so hard to get it to them. Get one of Bruno or McT deep and start building attacks, it is a stupid set up.

I understand the logic of playing McTominay farther forward as he's no good at progressing the ball and average enough at defending from deep areas, while he has a good finish on him. But Bruno to me is an average midfielder in deep areas. He made his name for us in the areas McTominay is playing in. He can't really set the tempo as a midfielder, he finishes it off as a midfielder. Different profile but Ten Hag seems to try to force the former.
