Everton are doing quite well this season.We're big favorites for this game so hopefully we win. Would love a goal or two in the first half so we can have a comfortable second half for once. I'd rest Mason and start Lingard possibly. Also might be a good chance to rest Pogba. I'd go:

I’d be happy with a draw.DDGWith so many key forwards missing, at Old Trafford, with Rafa at the helm, they'll be parking the bus. Matic and McTominay together should help us to compete with their strongest remaining asset, that physical midfield. Up front is our best set of players to unpick a sitting defensive block. Cavani's movement and cunning will be crucial and it's not ideal to be starting Ronnie twice in four days anyway. Bruno and Pogba obviously. Greenwood for his general good form and ability to pop up with a goal from very little.

If we're dominating but not making chances in the second half Lingard could come on for one of the CMs to up that tempo around the edge of the box (and provide another shooting threat from distance). Sancho is the obvious sub for whichever of Greenwood or Pogba is contributing least. And of course Ronnie can come on too.
I think Rafa is making a mistake of he goes with those 2 alone in midfield. Last season they played Doucoure, Allan and Sigurdsson and they didn't have the legs in midfield to close us down or cut off passes etc. I think they did slightly better when they played 4 midfielders in the game at Old Trafford, but even then we only went with a double pivot of Pogba and McTominay and still had a lot of joy.
Unless he has organised them better then I am confident we can not only win but look good here. I don't think Everton have the mobility in their team to do what others have been doing to us recently.

Hate being negative and all but one's got to be honestFor me Lingard has to start. His energy and eye for goal and a quick pass are a must. Creativity is key. How he was left on bench against Villarreal for so long when Sancho was virtually anonymous is beyond me and he made a difference late on.
Everton remain without injured quartet Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison, Seamus Coleman and Andre Gomes. So are way understrength.

I really think Pogba was our weakest link in the last few games. Sancho and DDG were our best players midweek
I just enjoy this forum the most out of them all which meant I posted heavily a couple of years back, barely do now.
Yeah if we stick the formation we usually play. Could go 2 up top with Ronaldo and Cavani and more of a diamond set up with Bruno at the tip and Matic at the base. Might leave us without enough width though. Lots of options for Ole today.
