I've spent 3 minutes giving out about Pogba but that pass to Martial was absolutely world class.

That was good play then leading to that offside

Pogba and martial are running riot with the space provided by rashford keeping the defense deep.

We need to renew Martial contract and tie him Pogba and DDG. Most important 3 players for the future of the team.

Martial is brilliant and that ball from Pogba's.

How's that not obstruction BY Bernard? Some rules will never make sense to me

I think so. Certainly in this case it shouldn't be a penalty.. But it's impossible for the ref to not give that - I didn't notice the touch until the 3rd or 4th replay.
Why? The touch doesn't take control away from Martial. What does, is the fact Gueye takes him out. The touch wasn't enough to say Martial wouldn't have continued on with the ball.

He was very lucky to score, and sooner or later he'll cost us. Needs to cut that bullshit out.
So? He (and Martial) just got us ahead. People's first thought shouldn't be "shit pen". It's a joke really.

THere's nothing particularly amazing going on but given some of the tripe we've served up recently I'm very pleased so far.

Martial has been great and Pogba's getting started now too.

    Yeah, I disagree. I think it's a confidence/pussy issue.
Don't know how you can call our players pussies. Whenever we go a goal down due to José's initial tactics they show a lot of fight to come back as often as we do. Usually helps that we have to attack then, too.

Feck sake Mata. He had all the time in the world to take the ball, turn and drive forwards there but he just takes the lazy back pass option.

Stupid run ups only work if you score. Not when you hit the post. You just set yourself up to look absolutely ridiculous.

Surely no way Sanchez just walks into the team if Martial keeps this up for a few more games?

Need another goal before half-time to settle things down. Keep getting the ball to Martial.

Pogba's run up was reminiscent of Wile E. Coyote after he runs off the edge of a cliff and momentarily walks a few steps on thin air before plunging to his doom.

    34 min

Pogba's turn to foray down the left, he gets to the touch line and his cross has to be put out for a corner.
Who ever knew the secret to us playing good was isolating Martial.

And having a mobile forward who moves off the ball to pull defenders around. Much more fluid without static Lukaku.

Wasted a year on Sanchez, and a year of Martial.

    34 min

Mata takes the corner which finds its way to Matic but Everton scramble the ball away.
