In genral, Carrick shows more variety in his passing. The pace on his passing is more varied, his two-touch passing is better. He injects better tempo, and passes between the lines, which Blind (and most others) can't do.

By your logic, Scholes pinging/zipping a tricky pass to Beckham, and then Beckham crossing it for a chance = Beckham is a better passer.

Its a pass, you trying to say blind is hit and hope? It's so much easier we've seen Carrick play it regularly. One leads directly to a chance, the other doesn't. Period.
