We started very well and I liked the positions Mainoo took up, but our left side of attack is extremely predictable and easy to defend against. Garnacho to Dalot, Dalot back to Bruno and some sort of attempt to cross into a box with only Mainoo and Maz in the box.

We need to use the right side a lot more, most of our threatening moments / direct play is coming from Amad running at the wingbacks, linking with Mainoo or Mazr and trying to unpick a cutback.

palace high press man to man or low block right on the edge of their defensive third and make it quite difficult to break them down

not having a true 9 in there is making things difficult as we have runners going behind their defenders so it allows them to squeeze space

Another shocking half of attacking output. These players simply cannot pass in attacking areas to create any threat, Palace should be 2 up and on chances will prob score sec half. Meaning we would just huff and puff for the remainder of game. I've been very vocal about our teams lack of passing capability and it really shows up in these games where teams low block. And guess what, every single PL manager knows that too!

Physically we’re second best but that’s the same every week. I think we’ve played some good stuff but you can’t ignore the lack of chances to show for it or the chances they’ve had.

Nobody’s been poor but we need to find some improvement to get the job done here. Palace have played well in all fairness too.
